Can Sen. Collins ever get a spine and speak to truth like real Maine people do.

Is Mrs. Trump going to have a different look for So. Cal.?

It may be insanity but it is also recognition of the retribution Trump seeks on any one he perceives lacks loyalty to him. Still they may have to appear before Rep. Loudermilk’s committee which will cost them huge money for lawyer fees.

There are 7 Republican House members from the S. California area. I would hope they would not back any attempts by Speaker Johnson to hold aid hostage.

This is the real problem. We need the media to be truthful. I watched the Bondi session she was not walking a fine line. She will go after people Trump tells her in spite of being under oath.

Sarah it’s not the despicable characteristics he has. Instead as a few Dem Senators pointed out he has no experience managing an organization this large nor any sense of history, geography or key counterparts. Instead he sees his job to be as a drill Sargent making lethal warriors.

Hey New Yorker, if you are going to post with links to your articles make them on the free side of the paywall . It’s not just you I am trying to decide between a subscription to The New Yorker or The Atlantic. Neither of you is helping.

I agree! Hurry up Oliver I missed your bit of sanity even though it often made my angry. I know “ignorance is bliss.”

USA should send RFK to help get Kim’s diet under control. A gift from America no need to return.

I guess it depends on whether you think “working for Putin” means getting a paycheck from him. Greenwald and Tiabbi carry his ideas paid or not.

Jamie it could be a door to the New Year or the cover of Project 2025. In either case I wish we could just keep it locked and closed.

AOC is smart. The party needs to go left to bring back the labor vote. She can do well at this. It does not require her to be a phony.

Easy to say but not so easy to do when you are the only one not saying and clapping for stupidity or ignorance.

I live in North Carolina this result is very frustrating and solely due to gerrymandering. When will this end. The state is 50-50 and yet finally in Jan. 2025 the Republicans will not have a super majority by 1 vote!

Is this just one step of the “editing” done to history and the news in 1984?

Fred. I don’t expect Senators to stand up unless the serious media finally starts doing their job.

I have read Kaplan’s new book. It is great on multiple levels. No doubt some people in D.C. will think/ask “is writing about me?”
