I did read books about Holodomor, but yes, my knowledge about Mao's Great Chinese Famine is from Wiki only. Still, where's Lyssenko?

Carl, Holodomor in Ukraine was most certainly NOT Lyssenko's.
The post-WW2 famine in USSR wasn't his either.
Also, USSR continued with plant and animal selective breeding even if it contradicted the Lyssenko ideology.

Of course I was never sponsored by millionaires, just sued by them. But still, we got that Macchiarini stuff retracted and clinical trials terminated (among other things), and now everyone claims credit for it. ;-)
