Agree, but stop referring to it as “fair” share if tax code and laws allow for it. To many, what is legal is fair. They should pay a proportionate/reasonable rate of taxes relative to income AND wealth, whether they feel it’s fair or not. Raise the top rate to 90% for the 1% like mid 1900s

Agree, but stop saying “fair” share, as fairness is too amorphous a concept. Proportionate share or even just the share they’re able to afford would be better, as it’s purely mathematical. You make more, you pay more, because you can. Whether or not that seems fair…
