DOGE cuts have also hurt their reimbursements for moving expenses when they are redeployed. It’s expensive to move & now the expense primarily falls on the service member.

Your Substack today was compelling. I got so emotional listening to Ahleen’s story about being laid off. There are probably thousands of very talented, hard working professionals who had similar experiences. They were treated in such a disgraceful manner. Thank you for sharing her story.

Indivisible.org is a helpful resource for peaceful resistance, demonstrations etc. Most cities have a chapter. There are Facebook pages, too. It is comforting to have a team of others working toward saving our democracy.
