It's pathetic that there are so few incumbent geriatrics getting challenged that anyone can devote this much attention on a single race.

A lot of people today talking about starting/supporting a third party don't realize it's actually an even better idea than they think. The Dems don't even show up in half the country; 84 Reps won this last election in my state by default. You can't do worse than literally not showing up.

I'm seeing a lot of people saying this doesn't represent the whole party, but not a whole lot of videos of other elected dems saying the opposite. How about you work on getting videos of that, should be easy since this wretched opinion is 'such an outlier'. It'd be good marketing too.

Leftists should live-stream their organizing, not just inform & agitate. Since mainstream media is completely captured and 3rd spaces are shot; The internet is all we've got, and live-streaming is severely underutilized.

Reading liberals' replies to this, I continue to be flabbergasted at Dems' response to any attempt at improving their party. Calling primaries treasonous, saying that running everywhere will "drain resources" rather than grow their base of support. Just utterly baffling and backwards.

The Democratic Party intentionally dismantled the organizing coalition that got Obama elected. They threw away their 50 state strategy. Now hundreds of republicans take seats in state legislatures by default. If you gifted the Dems the power to compete with Reps, they'd just throw it away again.

When you call on Democrats to push for progressive actions/policy, you think you're giving them courage to understand that they will be supported in doing what you both want. But the Democratic party is already doing everything that they want to do. To them, your support is nagging and harassment.

When 84 Republicans in your state get 100% of the vote in their races against no-one.

Does the Democratic party ask members to run for elected office? They put out mailers/texts/etc. asking for donations, votes, volunteers; but I haven't seen them ask members to join them in running the government. Odd, considering all the Republicans who skate into office unopposed. 🤔

You could probably crowdsource a new party based entirely on just running candidates for each available elected position. In the last election the only contested race on my ballot was the president. The other races were a single republican or independent running unopposed.
