These are the wikipedia overviews for Gen. CQ Brown Jr. and Lt. Gen Cain. One is not like the other... Not tell me which is the DEI hire... FYI, from 2009-2016, Lt. Gen Caine was with the Guard and was not active duty and then retired in 2021.

I've said this already but it deserves repeating... Most of the "savings" "DOGgy" is reporting are IDIQs or BPAs. These are contracts that allow agencies to spend UP TO a certain amount but agencies rarely, if ever spend that much. So, only in a fictional world did "DOGgy" actually save $55B.

Trump says he wants to give 20% of the "doggy" savings back to Americans. Right now they say $55B (it's not). There are 127M households in the US. 20% of $55B would be $88 per household. Everybody get ready for your Scrooge McDuck money dive!

Something I'm not seeing talked about: All of the cuts to government contracts are almost entirely to US companies. All of those companies were expecting those contracts to keep their employees...employed. These cuts aren't just going to raise unemployment in government jobs...

A little info: it costs 13.78 cents to mint a nickel. That's nearly 9 cents extra per nickel. So, it begs the question...if the point is to get rid of coins that cost more than they're worth, shouldn't we get rid of the nickel as well? www.wdsu.com/article/cost....
