I've also been doing even more gardening at a friend's place to help prepare it for a lil event and make it look presentable. Let's see if they survive π

I also got seeds last year from my neighbour for some Convolvulaceae (not sure which exact type, it didn't specify on the packaging), these were the babies just a month ago. They've been repotted by now and have grown *so much*.

It really depends, this one is a private auction so it could go for less, but you have to usually spend at least several hundreds if not 1k on an authentic antique like this one (if it's in good condition). I'm sure you can even spend more. π

I too would like to try and swom to this small island and sit in one of the trees for a while.

It is such a rich and gorgeous colour! Your husband picked them really well.
I hope they'll bring you joy for as long as possible πΉ

I really love your simpler art too, you have a way of telling a story without showing much. That's such an admirable skill!

Yes, all the small details look really nice against the black. It really goes back to our little chat we had a long time ago, but I wasn't really brave enough to try that back then. xD

Thank you! Yes, for this one I may have taken a little inspiration from Beardsley.

Thank you!
I am starting to feel more comfortable with working with large black spaces in my art :D
