“rewrite the entire corpus of human knowledge”

The Death Before Detransition design in both estrogen and testosterone is available via my merch store. Thanks so much to everyone who's ordered over the past few months and helped me make a living!

Helen De Cruz was a person of exceptional kindness and an exemplar of how to be a great philosopher—passionate, creative, intellectually honest, unendingly curious, and an advocate of flourishing for all. I will miss our discussions about music, philosophy, and spirituality. rest in peace.

I'm really not getting people who scold us for criticizing the Democrats and their strategies We are in this fix in no small part because the Democrats ran a bad national campaign The only way to run a better campaign is to point out where they failed

No, i'm serious, it's free literally free and it looks like this

I really expected originally to write almost all M/M as my queer fiction so the pivot into trans stories after two books has felt really freeing

watching the new Wallace and Gromit, all about AI

This book, which is excellent, begins with a review of literature that’s all medievalists commenting on the use of “medieval” in modern culture. The central argument of the book is that the Middle Ages as a concept is useful for contradictory groups and purposes because it’s extremely plastic.

🌄🎶 30 Days of Feel Good Songs to Dance to in June 🎶✨ June 20 is all about feeling on top with “Top of the World” by The Carpenters — a sweet, uplifting tune that makes every moment feel a little brighter. Take in the view → youtu.be/Tt1MqAZ9XHw?... #FeelGoodJune #FeelGoodVibes

this Leverage episode which is based on The Office, features a poster with La Derniere Fleur, a book by James Thurber translated by Camus

I have removed the algorithm that was on the app and which you were probably using for clicks Forgive me it was deserved so funny and so cold

New poem about Minecraft and heartbreak. Huge thanks to @poolpartymag.com for featuring it. ☠️🏹

I know I shouldn't give money to the New York Times, but you have to understand the New York Times was a really big part of my childhood and anyway I mostly just read New York Times fan fiction anyway

Well, this seems like a pretty topical day to read this essential nonfiction cut from @rikiwilchins.bsky.social

Hi to all the new followers! I'm Kara. I write stories about queer magical girls fighting evil with rock music and being gay in Portland, Oregon. It's nice to have you here. Why not check 'em out? I have a novel and a short, and a sequel novel on the way 😁 magicariot.com

Pride Month is upon us! If you love paranormal fantasy, trans gals with mysterious powers, or want to support a trans author, check out The Amelia Temple Series! All three books are available in ebook and paperback wherever books are sold! books2read.com/AmeliaTemple...

I'm sorry, Texas Paul, Bluesky doesn't have an algorithm. If you want engagement, you'll just have to transition like the rest of us.

It's been that kind of day

Hey @bsky.app @support.bsky.team love you folks but I have a request. Gen z is trying to cancel Mictecacihuātl the aztec god of the dead and ruler of Mictlan, the lowest level of the underworld. Perhaps a tweak of the algorithm is in order. Thanks.

Also, not for nothing, but the most psychologically damaging thing people did to me when I was in crisis as a kid was tell me that everything was fine when I knew it wasn't.

This is some very "gay people can still get married--to the opposite sex" logic. MacKinnon actually tore apart this logic with regards to workplace insurance refusing to cover reproductive care, under the (smug, cissexist) rationale that "both men and women cannot be insured for reproductive care!"

I am so very angry and sad.

Love that we keep losing our rights to legal arguments that sound like they were devised by fairyfolk.

y’know what this shit is? THIS IS THE SHIT THAT GIVES TRANSPHOBES PERMISSION TO HURT US you are with us or against us human rights have no middle ground

The Spear Cuts Through Water is absolutely brilliant. I am only a fifth of the way through, and my brain is glowing.

Maybe buy some books from this fucking queer too? I hear they're pretty good

This literally needs $100 more to reach their goal. $10 each from 10 of you would do it. Your donations directly to queer people will do way more than donating to big orgs. Politicians on both sides of the aisle set up the world that makes this fundraising necessary, and this is how you combat that.

Why yes, the Hugo Awards *should* add a permanent category for Speculative Poetry! www.poetryhugo.com

Jules Gill-Peterson isn’t mincing words: Forget euphemisms like “gender euphoria.” “We need hormones, sex changes, and surgeries.” Not affirmation—access.

22-year old daughter started reading Lord of the Last Heartbeat at my recommendation and said that from the first paragraph, it captured her completely. She's five chapters in and I haven't finished it myself yet!

our 22-year old daughter finished reading Nona the Ninth to us, and now she wants to read the whole series again for herself. We're going to try the Amelia Temple series next, beginning with Beneath Strange Lights.

season 4 of Leverage really went all in on the Microsoft Surface product placement, delightfully quirky in retrospect

"if today has taught us anything, it is: don't trust police.'

State Patrol just tweeted a photo purportedly of images from the suspect's car that has sheets of paper saying "No Kings". MN State Patrol wants people to stay home and not protest. There were 2 sheets of paper that said "No Kings" but if today has taught us anything it is: don't trust police.
