They should do an old school duel

An irrationality of grief being thinking if you love something enough, it’ll never die, and when it dies, despite all the pain, you must not have loved it enough.

3.5 hours

It's past midnight, and Senate Republicans are voting NO against every Democratic-led amendment to PROTECT HEALTH CARE for our families. Pay close attention: Republicans are working to push kids off Medicaid to pass MORE tax cuts for billionaires.

Did not anticipate so much fluid to be involved in my dog’s last day on earth 😭 o refer to tears, yes, but also other kinds

Also very interesting to me too, what people will struggle to suck up and get through. Like, suck it up and get through assignments you don't want to do, broadly, is good. You hate it, but you just get through it. This is fine when your assignment is a boring essay for class.

Our little dude doesn't want to eat. I had taken to putting his heart meds directly into his mouth, but he's caught onto what I'm doing here and now keeps his mouth shut as tightly as he can. He's not trying to bite me but he's not trying to let me continue this. I've hated putting meds

Also, he said he'd fix the water crisis in flint MI back 2018, and rather than repair their pipes (50 million dollars) he just spent half a million to put some new water fountains in 12 public schools.

People will really be out here ruining a general chat channel with extended conversations on a niche topic for which there is...a dedicated channel they are meant to be using.

Of course I’m disgusted by this entire administration and everything they do but i absolutely loathe this bullshit of talking around countries (e.g., Ukraine, Palestine) like they shouldn’t have any say in their own future. Hate it.

2025 really is a fine line between seeking out silliness and absurdity to make things bearable and wanting everybody to stop being silly/absurd and take shit more seriously 😒

Our dog with heart failure was doing a lot better with his meds but now he’s refusing to eat. Idk if the meds upset his tummy or what, but he doesn’t want to eat anything at all, so now waiting to hear back from the vet.

This is a concentration camp! They're disappearing people to concentration camps! We've seen this before and it leads to some of the most inhumane actions we've seen!

He thinks AI can do air traffic control and is willing to kill people to prove it

Sure would be neat if every agency not yet stormed into by Musk and his team managed to fully lock him out of the buildings and all system. Even if he finds a way in eventually, stall as much as possible.

This comment on r/fednews really stood out to me. Trump and Musk want people to think they're firing do-nothing "bureaucrats," but they're really getting rid of people dedicated to serving this country and keeping it operational. I hope these stories get told.

I just added more things to this list today: docs.google.com/document/d/1...

Can't get a game to run on my computer and other various weird issues (why can't things just...work? For a continued stretch of time?) but at least I got to sleep in a bit, have clean bedding in the dryer, and got to play another lighter-lift game though we didn't know what we were doing.

You’ve been murdered, who do you want on the case?

“The NCI is the largest funder of cancer research in the world, and oversees a huge swath of the critical trial and basic research done across the US. It is worth repeating: People will die because of this.” www.splinter.com/the-unhinged...

I love repeating myself. It's so fun. I love asking the same question nearly every goddamn day and absolutely nothing being done with that information.

Very cool

In the weird space of "Well he was doing better on his meds...now he's doing worse...but still better than the night we thought he was dying...but he doesn't want to eat...but his resting breathing rate is better! But maybe he's in pain, & his legs are weak, but he doesn't want us to pick him up..."
