Claude says I process my emotions externally. I am interested in events, effective altruism, and gabbing with the girlies (all-inclusive). I also work on the EA Global team @ CEA.

Also, Oxford has this flower shop that is really cute, they have all these different little bundles and you can make your own bouquet! And it's not even expensive and it's so gorgeous!!! So I made a lil bouquet for her and I'm really happy :')

I'm about to start writing fan fiction but it's just the exact same world we're in now, except this one tw**t is different

yeah so maybe there is this thing of like, "I feel weird about AI for xyz reasons, and here is a thing people in my social circle already know to take seriously" idk. Or maybe it's more like your last post in this thread. This is a tricky one tbh.

Like e.g. when everyone was upset about AI art, and then I think some of the arguments were kind of poor, but partly because there was so little empathy for the very real and sad fact that a lot of digital artists felt pushed out or scared.

huh that's really really interesting, I haven't thought much about where the climate / AI arguments are coming from. That sounds extremely plausible to me. Especially because there are a lot of reasons to feel bad about AI, that people kind of sneer at.

I'm glad you found it helpful Joshua! :)

I thought this was about Taylor Swift at first and I was so confused

Ofc, this doesn't work if you're in an unhealthy environment that prevents you from being able to do that kind of processing, but then that's a separate problem entirely (you are in a bad environment and that's bad for lots of reasons)

Yes totally, so I think in the ideal world you would feel the guilt, think about it, and then say, "wait, I don't endorse that, that's being projected onto me," and then let the guilt go, which is a productive/positive outcome imo.

Best of luck with this!!!

Thank you for sharing ❤️ I think this is very common, though I'm sorry to hear it. Before posting this, I wish I'd paid a bit more attention to how the title might feel to people who've been very pained by guilt, or had it weaponized against them

perhaps he meant incredible in the very literal sense, like, 'impossible to believe' like, 'so bad you literally will not believe it's happening' :)

Erm, why are the replies so vitriolic? It took me a while to figure out the context, and based on the replies, I thought you must have posted something demonic. God speed Matthew,

yeah, I think you can get it to mostly stop this if you give it very specific and long prompts with a lot to work with, but it reaaaallly likes to lay it on thick

I try to use Claude when I can because I don't like OpenAI :( But Claude also has more guardrails on what it's willing to say/talk about

Tysm for your thoughts!!! Seriously, I appreciated these replies a ton, the podcast idea both fascinates and horrifies me a bit lol, I think that would be a very interesting experience. Also, I've tried 4o & I agree, I think it's the best one for this stuff
