Defender for Endpoint Server*
comment in response to

I don't believe so. @nathanmcnulty.com, is anything else needed for Defender for Endpoint for Servers besides the per-server license?

No, Defender for Endpoint Server is $6.24 per server endpoint per month. I wonder if it's possible to buy this SKU and apply it to a client OS ðĪ

Coming from you, Wes, I'd count that as a very official position. Thanks!

Hahahaha it would only cost them ~$62K to license ~40 kiosk computers (via this "every factory floor worker needs a license" approach) for Defender for Endpoint over three years ðĪŠ

A Microsoft Defender for Endpoint F2 SKU (for frontline workers) is $3.50 USD/user/month. It still seems excessive to license two-thirds of the company with this to cover just ~40 computers, but hey, what do I know? ðĪ·ââïļ
It's at least a possible option.

The problem is that, in this case, two-thirds of the user population work on a factory floor and are not generally IT-enabled.

Out of curiosity, how did you pull apart the dump file on ARM64 to figure out what caused the BSOD? I usually use WhoCrashed but it's not ARM64 compatible.

So, if you use a management tool to remotely reboot macOS, you can't reconnect after it reboots. Crappy workaround: disable FileVault.

What are you trying to do? I know several people at the PowerShell + Sharegate intersection. But I'm not an MVP and neither are they ð
