I probably would have stopped at “that’s what’s up.” You either expect me to carry this conversation by myself or you flat out aren’t interested. (Although I did read recently that something like 24% of adults in USA were illiterate in 2022. Maybe these bad texters just aren’t strong readers?)

Don't forget alot of countries are strict too. Absolutely zero criminal record for starters. Which eliminates 99% of the white ppl trying to run lmfaoooo

This. Plus I’ve been telling people to re-engage politically on the city & state level. 45 can swing his dick around all he wants but if local and state officials (see the Maine governor today) tell him to go to hell, he can’t get much done. So implying that nothing is being done right now is wrong.

I will not be lured into the streets to become their human shield. Period. Let white people show up for ONCE without us swooping in to save them from the consequences of what they, their meemaws, their pawpaws voted for. THEIR bodies need to fall. This is their cross to bear.

Right? Saw someone on here say, “Why isn’t the media covering the protests?” I replied, “Because the police have allowed them to be peaceful. When we show up, they will disrupt that peace.”

The government wasn't designed to function in these conditions & won't. It *is not functional.* Leaders come from THE COMMUNITY (then they go to DC to work on behalf of said community). Somebody gotta be Fred. Somebody gotta start a SNCC (a student org, by the way). The folks on the hill ain't it

I'll add one last point: it's not lost on me that the "burn it all down" folks now wanna know what congress is gonna do when we're at the point we really may have to burn shit down. The dogs caught the car. You wanted revolution, right?

I will say I saw footage from a GA town hall today with a GOP rep and they were in. his. ass. I'm not saying DON'T press your reps to act. (ESP if you're in a red state, IMO) Recognize it's not our only tool, and it shouldn't be all we do, bc that's not gonna be enough. We, the people. IJS.

The people united can never be defeated. The power of the people is greater than the people in power. These weren't just catchy slogans to chant. They were reminders.

At what point do YOU actually do something besides say "when is somebody gonna do something?"

This is not about me defending the dems, this is me saying I'm tired of citizens abandoning their role in democracy - in their own existence - and complaining abut what other ppl aren't doing. That's not how any fight against systems, regimes and oppression has ever worked.
