Enjoy your holiday Sheil and family! London local and Philly special listener here. Other London park recommendations:
Greenwich park (best view of London IMHO at the top by the observatory)
Victoria park (more specifically the canals alongside the park which run through East London)

They both are absolutely 2025 problems. Between them they're earning $38m and they'd have to attach prospects to either to move those contracts. They've got no moves left to make because of bad deals. Castellanos has 0.5 WAR in 3+ years as a Phillie at $20m per. He absolutely has not been fine lol

O'Hoppe has a higher career OPS+ so I'm not sure how it "hasn't been close". Bit of a strange response to a perfectly polite comment on my part. If you want to get into 2025 stats I'm sure there are plenty of non flattering ones to choose from re: Marsh

I'm hoping to blog about the whole thing soon, but to me they're not paying for what they did this off season, they're paying for a series of terrible moves under DD. Castellanos. Walker. Turner is looking like a Howard sized albatross contract. Even trading O'Happe for Marsh. They're hamstrung

The core problem with their roster building strategy is it's boxed them in with almost no flexibility to how they operate. Signing older players to big deals (JT, Castellanos, Schwarb) and the 10+ year deals (TT, BH) offer no way out. It then becomes a huge problem when your arb players are average

Where do the 2024 Eagles rank among the last ten SB champions? I'm biased as a Birds fan, but feels like one of the more complete teams over the past decade especially when you look at the teams they beat and the combined CG and SB scores

Isn't Milroe a completely different style of QB to Dak?

I would politely suggest you review your formula if it's showing them as 39th in the list of champions given they had the #1 defence by almost any metric and scored the most points *ever* in a single post season. They didn't have a soft schedule, either. Beat Stafford x2, Love x2, Lamar and Mahomes

It's because baseball has a flawed post season. Regular season is boring and predictable (ask anyone in the NL West), then all hell breaks loose in the playoffs making it almost a random event. Moreso now than ever with the extra wild card

I've hated on the passing game all season but yesterday there were some genuinely extenuating circumstances. The problem is they absolutely have not earned the benefit of the doubt lol

Jalen Hurts didn't play well in the Superbowl then?

Won't get anywhere if they can't pass the ball. Eventually you're going to have to move the ball! All of Hurts deficiencies showing up in this one
