I put a hold on Ed Martin’s nomination. He’s denied elections. Fired quality public servants. Attempted to chill free speech. Turns out he’s also carrying water for the Kremlin. So wholly unfit to be a U.S. Attorney.

Just saw a group of school children booing a passing Tesla, and it wasn’t even a cyber truck

Steve Kerr wore a Harvard basketball shirt after the Warriors’ win tonight: “Yes, this is me supporting Harvard. Way to go. Way to stand up to the bully.”

I haven't posted all day...because I was working on this. I just finished: The Dangerous Road to Autocracy-We Have Arrived: When Lawlessness Becomes Policy (No Paywall) www.jackhopkinsnow.com

If Jeff Bezos can send Katy Perry into space, he can pay a wealth tax so every American has debt-free healthcare.

(getting zero likes because my posts are bad) the deep state must have full body puppeteered bluesky users into scrolling past my posts

Trump handed El Salvador's President Nayib Bukele, the self-described "world's coolest dictator," $6M US. El salvador has 6M people.

It is legally impossible to deport citizens. This is not deportation. Removing citizens to foreign prisons, knowing to a certainty that they will be subjected to treatment that violates the U.S. constitution, doesn’t deserve any label that connotes legal legitimacy.

So, if I understand correctly, the President of the United States is saying that the Supreme Court of the United States consists of nine “sick people,” including three whom he appointed. apple.news/AMHDqIFcpRxi...

Warren: But this also happens to be a case where it’s not just the DOJ and SEC with jurisdiction. State attorneys general all across the country have power here too. That’s why a group of us just sent a letter to every state attorney general, urging them to launch independent investigations.

This feels right. #tariffseason #tariffs

Yes, he's a narcissist. OMG This is like reading Trump's biography.

Katie, who’s still sad about what happened in gym class last week, has said she would like to speak with Susie, but she has stopped short of requesting a phone call, believing that it’s Susie’s turn to ask for such a call. www.nytimes.com/2025/04/13/u...

Congratulations to John Roberts and the Supreme Court majority for severely weakening the judiciary. What a legacy.

Senator Chris Van Hollen has requested an urgent meeting with President Nayib Bukele of El Salvador to address the situation involving Abrego Garcia, a Maryland man who was “mistakenly”deported from the United States to a prison in El Salvador.

You’d think that a president who claims to be revoking visas to stop political violence and stand up against antisemitism would have something to say when one of the most high profile Jewish elected officials in America is the target of an arson attack in his home on the first night of Passover.

No American can afford to ignore the systematic erosion of what it means to be American. We are way past political and ideological disagreements. What’s at stake is our adherence to the Constitution and rule of law. What safeguards all of our rights. Without it, we cease to be America.

I just received this email. The pending litigation? Who filed a lawsuit I wonder? (It was me.)

“If we normalize this, there’s no end.” This is what @schumer.senate.gov said he was waiting for. Defying court orders. We are there. Now what?

The principle anyone (who isn't a slave) being held against their will has the right to some kind of process before a judge is so ancient the Code of Hammurabi takes it for granted. It's probably literally prehistoric, a practice predating written history. It is the deepest root of what law is.

I'm dealing with a dental problem so I called my dentist and the earliest that they had was mid-June... so I called another dental office and got an appointment for tomorrow... 9 out of 10 dentists don't want you to know about this one sneaky trick (Hiring A Different Dentist)

Stephen Miller is truly one of the most craven, awful, horrifying people I have reported on in my life. It is a blight on our nation so long as he has any power.

I am calling for a total and complete shutdown of detainees being removed from the United States to foreign prisons until our country's representatives can figure out what is going on.

I hate fraud so much. I was lucky to be raised by a deeply ethical dad who worked in the real estate industry in Florida and so was constantly bringing home stories of the worst kinds of guys getting rich in ways that they felt were "illegal but fine" but were actually the worst kinds of theft.

What do these corporations have in common? Netflix Ford Tesla T-Mobile Duke Energy DISH Network Metlife Dominion Energy United States Steel In recent years, they all paid their execs more than they paid in taxes. This is what a corporate-rigged system looks like.

I’ve just posted this video message to members of the DC Bar, urging them to vote *AGAINST* AG Pam Bondi’s brother to be its next president. Please pass this on to anyone who is eligible to vote. www.instagram.com/reel/DIcQFxt...

Watch a major campaign being born.

I'm struggling so hard to give a fuck about a bunch of rich people who paid the 3rd richest person on Earth $500,000 to go to space for a few minutes, while there are folks here who can't even afford the basics to survive.

i can't explain it but bluesky onboarding should come with five recipes involving rotisserie chicken

So by paying our taxes, we pay for a Central American dictator who runs the 116th-richest nation in the world to build five more supermax concentration camps slated to be filled with our countrymen and wholly innocent legal permanent residents of the United States? Is that right?

hey, remember when a fascist campaigned for president by promising to do fascist things and every Republican and the compliant lapdog press were all 'nah he's just kidding.' good thing there were no serious consequences from that

Trump wants to spend $45B to expand ICE detention — and let the private prison companies who bankrolled his campaign run at least a half dozen new detention centers. This won't make us safer, but it will make the border-industrial complex even richer.

What we all just witnessed had all the earmarks of a criminal conspiracy to deprive Abrego-Garcia of his constitutional rights, as well as an impeachable offense. The fraud scheme was a phony agreement engineered by the US to have Bukele say he lacks power to return Abrego Garcia and he won't do it.

I will say this - EVERYONE with power seems to be desperately hoping that unpopularity does the work that consequences need to do
