Life is a bike path, and I want to ride it all day long. It's kind of what I do already.

I have this same exact problem with exo. They often only have one machine per station, and sometimes it's on a different platform. This is especially bad when I'm an occasional tourist who will use stations unfamiliar to me. And add the lineups of people trying to figure out the confusing machines.

And when they were doing work on the Γle aux Tourtes bridge, they lifted the toll on the 30, but they left the train running at full fare with this limited service. I'm literally not contributing to traffic, polluting, or taking a parking space away. But I'm paying more to do this. π

When I want to visit MontrΓ©al for a day from Ottawa, I can either take the infrequent and expensive VIA train, or I can drive to Vaudreuil and take one of three trains. It doesn't leave me with many options.

I'm sorry you had to go through that. I'd think that gay men could relate when they're told I'd they're sure they're not into ladies, or haven't met the right one, or haven't tried it yet. I certainly went through very similar phases as a gay man. But I guess some have no solidarity or empathy. π

My problem with them is that if I see someone I like, maybe I want to see more of them. And I don't just look at a body, but personality as well. There's none of that when people reshare content without source.
I'm having this same problem with cooking videos I like without a cited source!

We do corruption. It's pretty blatant. But it seems normalized, and there don't seem to be any consequences for those doing it!

I've never used dating apps, and quite frankly, thank goodness. I see too many examples on the internet of people listing what they don't like. Ummm, cool, I guess?
I don't like olives, action movies, or rap music. Date me, please? π

It's not too bad, at least not in Southwestern France, where I was met with curiosity. I'm actually from Northern Ontario, so I have an even more backwoods accent. I actually had more trouble in QuΓ©bec than France in that regard. π

I've been to Paris a few times for just a few days. Other than that, we stayed in Bordeaux last time for an entire week, and I fell in love with it. We're going to Paris this time and I'm looking forward to see what they have to offer this French-Canadian gay! π

I was just thinking about when I went to the Farnborough Air Show in 2018. They had shuttles between the Expo place and the train stations, and they closed one side of the street to act as a contra-flow bus lane. It made the transfer very brisk!

I agree with this, even being from Ontario with so many lakes, and having family owning waterfront property. I've seen how it's all public land in England and it's wonderful. People can still buy property across the street and access the water by crossing over!

When I was in high school, Hilary Duff was popular, and she did this song with her sister Haylee. That's how I first learned of it. I was then surprised when I found out it was a cover!

I used to have that with my cats when I worked from home. Not anymore! Now, I can actually get work done without those annoying little shits begging me for food all the time or using my keyboard as a bed. But I do still miss them look forward to seeing them when I get home!

If I remember correctly, I was entitled to 50% credit. Over 7 hours was 100%.
I used to live on the Sudbury-White River line and I was surprised when I saw it on time once. I called it being on time, within Spanish limits!

The first time I took it was between Toronto and Sudbury. It was 4.5 hours delayed leaving Toronto! But it did allow me to wake up to the beautiful white Northern Ontario landscape in December and have a nice breakfast with three strangers! π

One of my favourite TV characters is Edith Bunker. She's religious but puts humanity first. Despite her being too submissive, she had her moments when she'd put Archie in his place. My favourite line from her regarding her lesbian cousin's "wife" is "God may judge her, but you ain't Him."

This may sound weird or whatever, but there's something I find strange about someone whose career is getting rich off of screwing people over, and then suddenly much much later in life, I guess making amends to that, while still enjoying all the said riches? π€

Go to any construction site. You'll see various building materials laying around awaiting installation. Sometimes, even in the street. Think for a few seconds! π

When I was growing up, I thought they said "lock the taskbar." This was also the time when I was learning how to customize Windows 95 (or maybe it was 98). π
There was even an entire meme about it!

Believe me, this Ontarian cares. But everyone else just seems so apathetic. We always say "oh Europe has the best transit, but it's hopeless here because we're built for cars." It's frustrating, and I feel like I'm always screaming into a void with these people. π

I'll admit that I'm easy on the "follow" button anytime I see a hottie, even content creators. But a lot of them don't seem to know or care to label their sensitive media. That's usually a quick unfollow for me.
But I mostly check up on the regular guys so that I don't miss something good. π€

People seem to forget that the previous government actually did take steps to secure the border in a much more peaceful way. But Trump called his buddies to strike it down because the orange toddler wanted all the credit. Reps should work together, not be childlishly tribal.

When I went to Bordeaux last year, we took the TER to Le Tèche to visit their bird sanctuary. They offered a discount for anyone who took the train there. We went to that one specifically because it was accessible by public transport and didn't require us to rent a car.

Everyone stumbles sometimes, which is obviously why we shouldn't care about it. But I remember seeing a clip from his first term when he was getting on AF1 holding an umbrella, and just let go of it to fly in the wind expecting someone else to take care of it. To me, that's quite arrogant.

Gawd I hate Ford and can't believe his government was voted in once more. He preys on people's emotions and bribes them. He went after cyclists and francophones without provocation (I am both of those) and is stripping our institutions like hospitals and universities. π

That's how I feel with anyone supporting the rich. Some may work hard and have a modest home or two. Others may work harder and barely afford to live. A few who work less will be able to ship their yachts between the Carribean and the Mediterranean. π

I've done this before. I was doing a remote audit of the factory I work and started on my laptop. Then I needed to switch it to the phone, go get on the shop floor, then back up to my office again on the laptop.

I pass by Westboro Beach most days when I bike to work. I like to go there on Fridays after work. I'm a little sad that it reopened, because it was nice and quiet during the renovations. But at the same time, I'm looking forward to new life there!
