Canada needs to dissect and remove the foreign element from its media if we are to stand firm.

I wonder what will replace it? I'm guessing the Euro.

Not at all. And that's the other thing - most of the world loves Canada. We don't think they're perfect, but they're still really nice, like New Zealand. So, the US is not just acting like a tool and bullying everyone including us, they're bullying one of our really nice mates.

Agreed. And then from them you get a combination of: 1. become American because you're all Dems! 2. please make my state one of your provinces! Tee hee hee. 3. not ALL Americans! (JFC) 4. I didn't vote for him! (like we fucking care who Stacey from Seattle voted for.)

Dude, vote your conscience. Nobody's making you like, trust or vote for him. This is the freedom we're protecting. Civilised convos, and voting your conscience. 🍁

Cool. Stay safe down there. I've read stories of MAGATs hassling Canadians. 🍁

Seconded. We don't invite invading forces willingly.

A lot, but mostly his extremely punchable mug. Who cares about the WEF and shit when we're being attacked in an economic war that might turn into an actual invasion of our country. He's completely out of touch with most Canadians. He'd do well south of the border though.

Part of the problem was the entertainment channel FOX News. They are a spokesperson for the US which wants to invade us. The have no right to broadcast in Canada. Please revoke their license immediately.

Oh shit. That's wonderfully offensive!

I take a bit of solace in that he's dealt with powerful world leaders twice(!) before, and keeps calm while they get red-faced. I was going to vote for him anyway, but that's my thought.

Wipe your phone and get a tile/apple tracker or something so someone up here can see where you are at all times. Elbows up, but safety first.

Get moving before we shut our border to a nation declaring war on us.

A lot of Canadians feel it's not going to get better, and are prepared for that. Our Armed Services recruitment servers keep overloading. We're prepared. 🍁

I know this will probably melt my inbox, but we don't think of Russia as some who agree or don't. We don't think of any nation we are at war with like that. It's country for country, and sadly, I'm a bit tired of "Not all of us". This happened twice on your watch, you have to own it. Thanks though.

My taxes helped put that there, and I couldn't be happier.

I hope not. They have no food inspection program anymore, they don't vaccinate their children, and MAGAT's could quickly turn violent.
comment in response to post
Between their unchecked food policies, and unvaxxed child policies, I say we should close it pretty darn quick.

At 51, I asked my pharmacist if they were going to offer boosters. He said there's been nothing from Health Canada as of yet, but that I'd probably see it in the internet before he heard about it at work. I was vaccinated for school, but it was a long time ago...

I don't get how developers keep building if insurers refuse to insure anymore.

My partner calls him Rhonda, and it makes me giggle.

The best thing you could do for Canadians and NDP Voters would be to drop out of the election and Endorse Mark Carney. If it's about Canadians and not Jagmeet Singh, let's see you prove it.

Sore but manageable. About to go make a meatloaf sandwich for lunch. Thanks for asking. πŸ™‚

Yes there are actually. A lot of my fellow Canadians are wondering how we can check immunity status at the border. It's in the same conversations about food safety moving forwards.

People were on the fence about this?

It’s harder than usual to make the call between malevolence and incompetence β€” both are having very strong weeks.

Nice. Thank you for a pleasant break in the "What the US fucked with today", in all my feeds.

My partner caught TB a few years ago. He survived it. He's a little short of breath more often now, but really, that's about it. They even traced his strain back to a homeless person who was living in the subway stations, and wasn't as lucky as to survive. With enormous gratitude, Thank you.
