That mario/duck hunt cartridge was my first console game! We got it in 1988/1989 for xmas (I forget which) with an NES. I remember my dad staying up all night playing it and the next morning excitedly telling me about the warp pipes

Amagami!
The anime adaptation is one of my favorites, since it shows every route instead of just picking one and having 20 episodes of fluff. I hope the game is great!

I feel you on this. It’s taken so much from both of us

What would you change the most about it?
I’ve held off with the lack of consideration for duo playstyle, but will eventually get it I’m sure

A fun warrior combo is a klackon warrior: they get a ranged acid attack that scales decently, so you have a fun extra tool! That was my best character, made it really dang far until I got a quest to kill 23 greater unclean ones, and I just couldn’t

Motobushido! Made by a friend of mine. Post apocalyptic motorcycle bike gang with a super cool escalation card based conflict resolution system! nathanaelcole.com/ag/motobushi...

Looking at it on poedb, it looks like it is just ball lightning with a new set of vfx on it, so not as different as I expected
comment in response to
post
I don’t think so; closest we have is just the regular ball lightning skill . With some slower projectile speed and increased area of effect it can feel pretty similar though!

Some of them were fun! Some weren’t but hard to know until you go, y’know? I learned early on I had to be ready to just play something solo depending on what people were up to

Ah, for it to be 2001 again.
I had just graduated high school, a friends mom had left for the summer on a trip across europe, and we had a constant rolling lan party of people at his house

Same! PoE 1 is my favorite game of all time, so I’m quite hyped right now 😁

I like it, but it is different. Some of the presentation is more polished, but it does feel more… generic dark fantasy at the moment
comment in response to

Ah! I guess I never noticed that change at the time, as I was caught up in some hectic life events.
I’m hoping we get an interesting campaign conclusion in PoE 2, and that the endgame moves beyond the current corruption stuff. The Atlas storyline in PoE 1 has been such a cool thing

Ah I see, due to them being in act 4?
I remember when 2.0 dropped, was a super fun time in the game! So much cool new stuff

I’m curious, how do we know the spirals are corruption/nightmare related? I must’ve missed that lore bit
