Needs to get much much worse for that to happen. It’s coming though. Social security payments being missed should do it.

I saw him miss a wide open layup earlier so no guarantee he makes that one either

I truly don’t understand what the fuck he’s doing besides trying to lose

He’s so obviously bad and lacking in all the things that help win basketball games

Yeah I hear you. But I was a little drunk and it was involuntary lol. Sober me still mf’s him

Dude he was impacting every aspect of the game. Crazy how many people were saying he was washed leading up to the trade. Not even close

Friendly Heat fan here. Herro has easily been our best player this season. Bam has been uneven though he’s come on lately. Herro’s ideal role is as a Klay type #2 around a ball dominant #1, obviously with less defense. Think he would absolutely thrive in this role. He’s improved so much this year

The exact type of player we’ve been conditioned to love

He’s impossible to screen. Absolutely love it.

Eddie Johnson really sucks as an analyst. Guy has the worst takes imaginable and always has a weird axe to grind with other franchises.

I got detention for sitting quietly with a book on my desk during reading time instead of actually reading.

At least those guys knew they were bad and tried to stay out of the way

I know there are defensive concerns but somebody like Trae Young would legit add 20-30 points a night to this offense

That was fucking disgusting. Makes me never want to watch basketball again bc there’s a chance something like that 4th quarter might happen again

Oh absolutely. Pretty clear Pat is in his emotional old man phase. Which is fine, but I don’t want that with decision making power over my organization. He’s had an amazing run. Legendary bball career. But it’s really time for him to retire and get some voices in house. It’s long overdue.

It’s very unflattering to both. Nobody looks good here. Which is about what you’d expect out of one of these behind the scenes stories about an ugly situation

Were any moleskin notebooks involved?

Was just thinking last night how badly they just needed a PG that could guard POA and set the table on offense. Herro and Bam have been so loose with the ball lately and they’ve been getting cooked by quick guards. Not sure they could’ve done any better than Mitchell for the price
comment in response to post
lol yeah all I was really hoping for was a POA defender and table setter to hopefully move Herro a bit more off ball and make up for his defensive shortcomings. Shooting 40% would just be icing on the cake.

yeah, they have historically switched a lot with Bam but they’ve pulled back a bit this year and played more drop, especially with Ware playing more. They also play a ton of zone. Spo is good at calling different coverages depending on personnel so I’m confident they’ll find a way to maximize him

Awesome! Seems like a really good get for them then. Between Herro, Rozier and Duncan, they’ve been getting cooked by really quick guards.

Was hoping for a defensive minded PG for the Heat. They have been struggling so much with POA defense. I haven’t watched much of Davion but I’m guessing he’s that?

Absolutely. No consistency. It would be one thing if it was the same core group and you brought in 1 or 2 rotating hosts like they used to do. But you’re pretty much getting a different show every time you listen. I used to not miss a show but it’s now feeling very missable outside of Greg Cote Tues
comment in response to post
Yeah I want to be understanding bc I’m sure he’s still grieving and struggling with it everyday. But I find myself pulling away from the show lately and I’ve been a day 1 listener. Just doesn’t feel the same anymore and a lot of it is Dan losing his fastball. And too much Samson obviously lol

He is yammering so much. It’s painful to listen to. Somehow Stu is more coherent than him now

The two hand shove on Connaughton 😂

Well, it’s Wiggins, the 1st rounder AND getting out of the luxury tax. I don’t give a shit about that but the owner does. Seems like Kyle might stick around in Miami though if they can’t find a taker
