It's now clear: 2024 was our Brexit. We decided we were too racist to have a real, modern economy. We are now the UK; the economy stuck in neutral with simmering racial resentment pushing us further and further away from real solutions to economic problems. It's over.

The US has had worse leaders, the US has endured worse hardships of its own doing and inflicted upon it. And yet today is still a tragic day. I am a little perplexed at people on the Left in the US who believe that they washed their hands of Israel's war crimes because they failed to vote Dem. Aren't they supposed to be materialists? their tax dollars go to the genocide either way; there's no more or less material complicity from voting
