God one can only dream of such a glory

An absolute must listen; can only wonder the kind of music they'd be making together, here, now, in this moment.

Deftly tiptoes between traditional musics and large group freak-outs in the way that only Bley could concoct, and features what might be (if I really had to pick) my favorite piece of music on the label as a whole, Silence, in tip-top form here.

It's a label I could never possibly be an expert on due to how vast it is, but will also scoop up sound unheard whenever I see one in the bins

Well the third disc on the shelf was something that wasn't on Discogs (old friend ADM's first album) so I guess I'm gonna go real deep and whip up some release records while I'm at it www.discogs.com/release/3422...

I just use Discogs, which is good enough for me. My dad was a big catraxx head (I think) before it became abandonware

oh trust me there are piles like this scattered all over the house - another reason to finally be doing this!

Right now these are (mostly) Band Name/Artist Last Name Alphabetically > Album Title Alphabetically, but will (finally) be Name > Album Chronologically as the records are. ECM and Tzadik will probably get their own shelves!

Been on the Swans CD collection tip for many, many years - got into them right before the reunion so the compilation discs were plentiful!

The Glowing Man always felt like a small tiptoe into self parody after the success To Be Kind and The Seer, but I'm glad they kept exploring this heaven music afterwards because this and The Beggar are really, really special
