Sitting in a bar in Cambridge, MA. Overhearing a conversation from someone working at "a local university" saying they are recommending all non-US students carry papers and not leave the country at this time.

Ugh. So dumb. NPR and PBS are wonderful. Both media have provided me with entertainment and education since I accidentally emigrated (legally) almost 30 years ago.
