I've always thought they looked really neat, and the neck shape is so weird and something I need to try, but man they're so expensive, and the basses even more so, I'm more of a bass player tbh and it's pretty hard to find one of those just hanging on the wall at a store

Yeah it's wild, you start having these moments of "so that's what everyone meant." It's so different being on this side of it all. You get used to it after a while but it's a change that never really goes away. I'm sure it'll all turn out fine in the end though! It did for me and everyone I know.
