So it just isn’t an option media orgs with a commitment to accuracy and journalistic ethics
Same reason the the right loves all their media orgs that just lie all the time, and why Fox had to scramble to up their lying when Newsmax threatened them by lying more

The left wing audience isn’t untapped. There’s myriad left wing podcasts and websites and magazines out there
The issue is that audience isn’t very big and often aren’t looking for accuracy in reporting so much as dopamine hits. They don’t want to read an article that tells them they’re wrong

Most bike delivery guys will just blow through a red light if there aren’t any cars going through the intersection
That could get you your burrito like 5-10 minutes faster depending on the number of lights, etc

And it’s not up to the House to do anything about it. State AGs and private groups can sue

So the law in practice basically just bans the app but not the website?
That seems like it’s just slightly more annoying to open then a complete shutdown lol

So AWS or whoever wouldn’t be liable for providing internet hosting services that allow the distribution of TikTok in the states? Isn’t that what’s happening when I access their website?
(I know very little about this lol)

Does it being available count as them “maintaining” it? Or would that only apply if they did updates or something?

TikTok seems to be working right now though. Like, I can access their website
Isn’t that them already sticking their neck out?
