My Jupiter lens has fine scratches on the front and back elements and that adds a dreamy glow/haze when facing the sun. π

I don't notice a change in DOF. I don't know if there is a better brand of speed booster/focal reducer, but I'm really happy with the Mitakon Zhongyi M42 to Fuji X-Mount Turbo Mark II Adapter.

I'll have to experiment with that, but from what I've read, the impact is minimal (no pun intended).

I really haven't noticed any degradation. I was worried about that too, but I love how the photos look with it. Here are some I took with the speed booster on my Helios 44M lens. The edges aren't sharp, but that's the effect of the aperture wide open to get that swirl effect.

Nice contrast between the yellow sign and rust of the bridge and the gray sky.

It does indeed have a green tint. From the recipe description:
"Kodak once made a more vibrant, saturated and contrasty version of Ektachrome. It used to get very interesting when cross processed in C41 chemicals. Crazy saturation, deep contrast and wild colour shifts."

Thank you. They are growing on me. I think I was initially caught off guard when I was expecting them to look a different way based on the recipe settings.
