I’ve been a bit out of touch. Did you get the app approved?

Here we go. Leaks about players being unhappy with training is the usual first step in replacing the manager at spurs, right? Feel like I’ve seen this one play out so many times.

I’ve not seen that, have added it to my Netflix queue 👍

Black Doves *and* a Spurs fan. What a combo. Loved the show.

It was ~$15 a head, and you’re surprised it was “mid”? That’s barely above McDonalds pricing.

Nope. I’ve watched it about 20 times and still have no idea what happened. His shoulder bent nastily though, so doubt the next update will be too great. But at this point I expect to lose at least one player per game 🤷♂️

Yeah looked really nasty, glad he’s ok. He’s not had much luck the last year.

Here’s the one closest to me. “From” price is based on location, I can see prices from £15-£30 in London based on how premium the location is.
“Ultimate” at my gym goes up to £28 after first month, standard stays at £21.99 every month.

There are loads of chains in the UK (Gym Group, Pure Gym, JD Gyms etc) that do unlimited access, 24 hours a day, for £20-£25 per month on a rolling monthly contract. No idea how their finances work, but the first 2 have been going for 15+ years.

I think that’s the way they express it. Cheer it, that could be read as cheering him going off.

Sadly, I imagine you’re not going to have many other choices either. They all play the game.

Fair point. Although he was only there about 15 minutes

Tbh I think we’re a good choice for Potter at this stage, and think he’d do well with our players. IMO our squad is better than people make out, it’s just ruined at the moment. But I don’t follow football in other countries, there is usually an excellent German doing something good somewhere 🤷♂️

Think McKenna would leave now after turning down big jobs pre-season? His reputation is still solid, he’ll get offers from clubs that aren’t a total head case. Post Poch, we’re a risky job for the reputation of anyone up and coming.

You really think he’s done? The impression I got was that he had time to sort it. I know levy can be reactive, but it’s only 1 more game and we still don’t have a defence.
If he goes, who comes? Potter?

Yeah I think I’m in a minority on this one, but the regular crunchie is one of my absolute favourite chocolate bars. That and the star bar.

Strong strong disagree on the crunchie (the bar and the ice cream are both better imo) but agree on all the others.

Yeah I just said the same then saw yours. 1 was good, but 2 was special.

I didn’t love the second, but the first was great. Also Paddington 1 & 2 maybe. 2 was almost perfect.

This is what happens to me. I usually sleep perfectly and wake up before my alarm, but if I have an early plane I’m so convinced the 3 alarms I’ve set won’t work that I get a few 20 minute blocks of sleep if I’m lucky.

Hope Djed can keep this up, his forward play has been 👌 the last couple of games

Right? Like, if the people they expect to turn up need that explaining to them, I want no part in it.

I’m not going to disagree in principle, but USB C for phones was an Android thing waaay before Apple. The EU forced everyone to USB C, it’s nice to have some consistency.

Great, I’ll give it a go 👊

I should probably learn how to use it at some point 🙃

Ha, sorry about that!
Is the product ready to use? If I give it a go, do you consider it ready for someone to start using it on a production site? Curious to see how these kind of things work, but not sure if you're in an early dev stage or if it's a product I can get use from now.

Apple bricked the iPad? Or stopped pushing updates for it?

Spurs, sadly. Feel bad for getting my kid in to it, he doesn’t cope well with constant bad shit.

No worries. Could be worse, you could have our xGA 😢

Ok. Nobody is arguing against that. But this discussion is very circular so let’s leave it.
comment in response to

I agree. But it’s basically a new group, why do they have the same problem?
comment in response to
post
I think there is a lot of value to it. But I also think there is lots to learn from xG in different situations (set piece vs open play, for example) and a blanket value alone doesn’t tell the whole story. Low xG from open play covered up by exceptional set pieces tells a story.
comment in response to
post
Well we can agree to disagree on the value of xG data, I guess.
comment in response to
post
They are the best from corners for sure, and it’s nasty to play against. But the point here, I think, is that the data shows they aren’t creating enough outside of that, which reflects on the bigger picture.

Oasis twice. Interesting. I found most people I knew liked both of those, but were usually much more attached to one than the other.
