My hope regarding tariffs is that they've already imported large amounts of the hardware into the US to avoid some of that pressure. Really happy that they are giving their devoted customers better chances to purchase one of these instead waiting months to get a system or pay out the ass

Would love to see something like this happen for worldwide orders just so real players actually have a chance to get one without waiting months or paying scalper prices

They have to wait until "Liberation Day" announcements to figure out how many freedom dollars Dear Leader's cut is

He takes every chance he gets to show us all just how unserious he is. He doesn't actually care about his community or his constituents, but he sure does love the sound of his own voice.

What a fucking dumbass. Just going off that list, the one he mentioned in his district (Harbor Ave) is not the scene of major speeding (way too full of cars). If he really wanted to catch speeders, 35th Ave SW is the place. Except then his NIMBY constituents would get mad

American Evangelical Christians are just capitalists with a pastiche of religious authority from a co-opted religious text most of them have never opened, let alone read. It's pretty obvious they don't care anything for Jesus, his teachings, or examples from his (possible) life.

I'm just happy Saka is at the bottom of the list where he belongs

Mostly rezoning AFAIK. I'm also not sure how exactly these could be guaranteed to be low income housing, since building on an infilled marsh with extreme liquefaction danger and the Seattle fault line would make building anything new in this area very expensive.

Data doesn't lie. We're just a bunch of dumb yokels down here in the SW district 🙃

He can't hear you. He's too busy hiding from his constituents like the rest of the right-wing Congresspeople/dipshits

If only I could get the kid off of Fortnite, but it would be a cold day in hell before that happens. It's important to remember to teach the youth of today that no matter what, companies are not your friend/family, and billionaires hate your existence.

Well said.

I'd vote for Curby over Saka. At least Curby can be found inside West Seattle. Even though Saka ostensibly lives here, he never seems to meet with any constituents.

It's really such a nice stretch. A good portion of Beach Drive going south from Alki is great. Could be better for bikes, but still pretty awesome

Same here. It's not hard to trigger them. It's always the same folks, and I know their buttons after living here for 20 years

I see you have ventured into the cesspool of WSB comments 🤣
I can't say for certain, but that might be NIMBY extraordinaire and former FCA president Mike Dey.
WSB comments are always peak car brain. They absolutely lost their minds about the changes to parking near Alki

You shouldn't have been there!
Next year host a town hall for your constituents like @wyden.senate.gov. My family and I would be there!

Why not both! It's time to end our regressive tax scheme, and ensure that businesses pay for what they use and not just externalize all their costs on the individual tax payers
