people tend to sorta see a parallel between dess & noelle and asriel & chara in undertale, so that's probably why dess knight is a thing.

that is a fair point! it's moreso just a fun concept to think about. kinda like going layers and layers deep into fiction. like, objects in dark worlds turning into their own darkners and so on!
