You know how feathers seem to glide in the air slightly? That's the air resistance slowing it down. Physics class in school doesn't usually teach it because the formula is very complicated, so by default in school they want you to assume it doesn't exist for simplicity. That's why people think that!

They do, but from my experience, they don't teach it in school as it's complicated.
There's something called "Air resistance" that slows down objects by friction. The heavier the object is, the less the air "resists" it and falls faster.
A feather will fall much slower than a brick because of it.

twitter's algorithm promotes posts up to 2 days old, i've noticed bluesky's feed algorithms just give it a few hours before it's off the algorithm

yeah a big difference between here and twitter is that you pretty much will never get a banger post since theres no algorithm
