I think it’s the salaryman diet of spicy/ramen/konbini/nomikai/ramen because I too rarely hear sounds that would not be used in a gross or slapstick sense.

Never let it be said that a youth spent fervently reading @terrypratchett.bsky.social didn’t come with the fringe benefits of learning to read footnotes and remembering silly names.

That story always stuck with me.. not because back in the day you could afford to build an army AND eat. But because I completely resonated with the logic. I bet it was brown sauce too..

I hope for your sake it’s the outcome you want. At least I hope it doesn’t end up like mine where it’s now just coparenting with a housemate who hates you; and I wish that hell on no one.

I’d play it with you, if my character archetype was the culinary talented one who REALLY doesn’t want to cook every camping session and would literally take first watch so they can sleep longest.

Personally I wait to find people selling second hand opened sprues at a reasonable price compared to NiB and then take those purchases and kitbash for my armies or whatever I get inspired for at the time

Lahmian medium seems to work better with washes and standard paints, contrast medium really helps with flow and opacity in contrasts. Fur example: if you apply skeleton horde to a skull and immediately a drop of contrast medium to the highest point on the skull, it makes a beautiful gradient.

I cut my cygor brown 1:2 with contrast medium and it comes out much better. I only using it for doing fur and feather gradients though as it’s useless on wood textures

When literally all the staff accounts and the biggest faces in the hobby all stop talking with a record scratch.. then GW slowly backs out of the room.. then the music and conversation continues as it was before. Is exactly how this feels.
