Why a CO² monitor? While it doesn't measure harmful substances like specific pollutants or viruses, they can't linger as long in a space that is well ventilated. High CO² = breathed out virus particles aren't moved out of the space & risk of infection is higher

Got the first round of sunshine-on-the-windowsill, harvested half a dozen chard leaves before the pigeons got them, and a handful of raspberries - it's not going to feed us, but it's joyful

This (probably buff/white-tailed bumblebee?) had a grey/white spot on the top of its thorax, which I found fascinating and can't find more info on, but some pictures do seem to have it? Couldn't get a good picture though

It is really important right now that we make sure our trans young people hear other stories than that. They hear "there is a future for you" & "there is community for you" & "you don't have to pass to be loved" & "not having access to gender affirming care before puberty IS NOT A DEATH SENTENCE."

Bouyed enough to dash off another email to my MP about the Assisted Dying Bill reading this Friday. He's been bland and strictly partyline so far, but there's a tiny chance I can move the needle on this one, and tiny chances are all we're getting
