Just when I thought video game magazines would never be great again, I found Edge magazine. Leave it to the UK to produce one of the best gaming mags I’ve ever seen, and in 2025 no less. Everything about it is top tier: design, writing and print quality are the best I’ve ever seen.

I don’t talk about wrestling often, but hearing about the loss of Sabu hit hard. Growing up in North Jersey in the ’90s, ECW was everything—and I was lucky enough to see Sabu live. A hardcore legend. An icon. Thanks for the memories, Sabu. I’m pointing to the sky forever. 👆

It makes me sick to my stomach that some of my colleagues (I work at a school) would consider allowing A.I. for anything remotely creative, including brainstorming. There are far better tools and we are better educators for pointing them out than resorting to A.I. I barred it from my curriculum.

Damn, the new Doom looks so good. Not sure how I feel about the whole slowing down and standing there to fight with the shield sometimes, though. I still want to try it regardless and might even renew GamePass to play it day one. Next week, everyone will be singing the Doom song!

I know I'm the Retro Gaming guy, but I finished Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 last night and I can't stop thinking about it. Not only a beautiful work of art that was incredibly fun to play, it might be one of the best classic-style turn-based RPGs I've ever played. And the story... I'm not okay 🥲
