Sorry for your loss. I bet he’s throwing up the devil horns after seeing your message. Be sure to celebrate his badassery.

This is a fantastic description, and one of the reasons I love this game so much. There’s none of that 30 page backstory romance with a character. You roll one in 5 mins and then proceed to find the most glorious way to annihilate yourself. All fun with no emotional labor.

Same. I really enjoy seeing the sunrise and sunset. It’s one of those things that warms the soul.

Was it not what you had originally intended to do? Or do you just start and let the concept reveal itself to you?

Acknowledged. I would think that gravity and density most likely matter. Given Earth’s specific mass, I would think your fictional moon would need to be of similar proportions maybe. But then again, the amount of breathable air might be relevant to the moon’s size. What minimum psi would be needed?

Just my two cents. Feel free to disregard if you’re looking for a less realistic approach.

Oxygen being present is one thing, but we breathe a very particular mix. If those levels weren’t identical, you’d have variations in ability to breathe. If you’ve ever used a meter to read O2 like in a confined space, there’s a range of what is safe, and outside of that isn’t safe.

What difference will it make honestly? The player base is down because there’s still practically no endgame. Look at Path of Exile. They have like 8 different things you can do for endgame. Maybe expand a little and give people fun stuff to do.

I have a 23 yr old and a 16 yr old, and I would bring neither to a liquor store.

It’s insane the way that things are going.

Honestly, Liquid and Echo could wait for Bound to be 6/8 and they would walk in and be 7/8 day 1. And then finish the last either before, or the next day after reset.

I’ll have to give it a look into.

Give them hell. Let them know what’s at stake. And don’t settle for their BS because their job isn’t at stake. Yours is.

Sorry to hear of the misfortune. I can empathize. Currently I’m out of work recovering from ACL surgery, and when I get cleared in like 10-12 more weeks, I’ll be hoping that there’s jobs out there.

Sadly, Powerslave was my first introduction to Iron Maiden. I then had to backtrack and discover the old stuff and have kept up with the new stuff.

I didn’t know about a Discord server. Plus I don’t have too much experience playing ttrpg’s online. I usually try to find people locally, but it’s gotten hard to do so. So maybe I’ll have to look into it more.

Could go deep, maybe even some Run to the Hills?

Powerslave or maybe, Flash of the Blade?

That sounds like paradise!

Yeah, it took me several years to get a copy of it because it was always out of stock everywhere.

Heck yeah, let’s go Mork Borg!!

Sometimes you just have to plant your feet hard into the ground and push back while telling the world, No.

I know what you mean.

Fair point. As much as we want to classify him as an idiot, he’s obviously smart enough to know how to swindle his own people. It’d be a real shame if suddenly folks decided to march on the capitol for some kind of retribution.

Hanging in there, on the road to recovery from ACL surgery. Completely avoiding the news, and trying to find folks to chat with to stave off boredom. Hope everything has been well with you.

While I believe something intentionally created us, since we have no reason to exist, I think we know practically nothing about it. People created religion to control other people because they can’t explain why anything is what it is.

How long before your phone bill goes up? Companies are increasing service charges to offset their increased operating costs.

What we need…

It does. Reagan’s trickle down economics never trickled down. It just allowed the rich to grow, and everyone below them to always be the floor that the rich walks on.

Hang in there. You only fail when you give up. Maybe make some adaptations to your strategy. Could just need a different path to the same goal. Try to assess from a bird’s eye view, you might be able to think of new ways without feeling so stressed out.

American manufacturing will never return to the glory it once was. The profit margins of yesterday simply can’t be obtained in today’s world. No company runs on altruism. Those are ideals of a lost era. And now we’re supposedly too civilized to do something to correct it.
comment in response to post
Yep. My father lost his job at one of those companies that picked up and took manufacturing elsewhere for cheap labor. And not long after, that company also went out of business. Karma maybe?
comment in response to post
Not really so these days. Americans are too dependent on imported goods because we as a nation simply can’t manufacture goods as fast or as cheap as other nations. At this point, we’ll still have to import so other countries won’t lose business, and we’ll just keep eating the shit sandwich.

I don’t disagree. But what bothers me more is how many people in our supposed “world leading” nation have zero clue what a tariff is or how they work. It is like an act of war….on our own people. This is how the rich gets richer. No penalty for the exporter.

Grifters gonna grift.

Worth more than Superman’s first issue.
comment in response to post
Tariffs are a terrible economic tool. There is essentially no benefit because they don’t “punish” the exporter, they only punish American consumers. I’m a plumber and even I know this stuff. Maybe I should run for presidency? Can’t be worse than it is now.

The cost of games will probably only fluctuate between 10% and 15% increase in price. However, your electric bill to play those games will be $600 a month.
