Plot twist: Their friend ate a pokeball and choked on it.
And they were performing the Heimlich maneuver to save them.

Looking forward to the final version.
I'm a sucker for good combat and neon lights, what can I say haha.

This looks neat.
I'm curious if you plan to scale down the special effects for when it hits or for when you get hit.
I get scared when the whole screen lights up and I don't know where the enemy is π

I'm curious how other reviewer buddies approach things.
How do you go about your own shtuff?

Could someone explain to me why the animations look so satisfying?

Move along, everyone.
It's just a goblin doing the Naruto run.
Nothing to see here.

I'll keep my eyes on the game and a release date announcement π

Now this looks awesome.
Really love how some of the elements stick out of the normal card frame.
Reminds me of premium variants I've seen in certain CCGs and TCGs.

Usurpation of Fire makes me so conflicted. In a good way.
It's technically a good ending.
But is the price worth it for humanity?

The folks at Passtech actually portrayed her pretty well.
The nice part is that you unlock bits of her story as letters to her lover.
And she also narrates them.

Are you planning to replay it?
I enjoyed the combat so much that I went through it a second time just for that π

I know it might not be what you hoped to hear.
But it's the only answer I know.
Building an audience takes time.
Keep up the good work.
And yell at people about it π
Maybe not yell, but you get the point haha.

Sooo, here are the 2 cents of a marketing dude:
Things don't just go viral.
On any platform.
What helps is consistent communication and knowing the target audience.
Folks will engage with what you do if they like it.
And those likes, comments, reposts help others discover you.

I remember someone leaving a negative Steam review saying:
"Why is this metroidvania so hard?"
The game in question is a precision platformer π
Was advertised as a precision platformer.
And it literally has "Precision Platformer" and "Difficult" in its Steam tags.
