Just posted a new poll. Has your household ever had a Sega Genesis console in it? (any household you ever lived in) VOTE HERE: youtube.com/post/UgkxgIf...

I've attempting to play through Crystalis (NES) for the first time. I love the gameplay, but man I keep reaching the "what do I do now" phase. I haven't used a walkthrough yet, but it's bound to happen.

Just invested in some multi carts.

You don't know what you have until it's gone. Years ago you could buy mini systems which gave people easy access to games. Now, due to greed, most companies aren't making these anymore. Instead they want to force you into paid subscription services.

I just posted another Top 10. This time it's the hidden gems of the NES, according to fans of the NES. Link here: youtu.be/zLavxAD-6DQ

I'm finally going to take the plunge and get a SAROO cartridge for the Sega Saturn. I'm on AliExpress right now and I gotta say the site feels like a minefield. Hopefully I don't get ripped off.

Interesting data. How many of these channels have you watched before?

I bet you scalpers are primed and ready to snag all the Switch 2s at launch.

Did YouTube change their layout on mobile? The top of the feed looks normal, but when you scroll down the titles of the videos have been scrunched beyond recognition. I fear this will negatively impact my viewership. It's possible this is an experiment that they have only rolled out to certain users

The harder you hit a button the stronger the attack is, that’s just basic gaming science and I refuse to believe it’s not true 💪

I don't get it.

Just spent 10 hours finishing up a video today. Hopefully people enjoy it. Very fun to make, so I don't mind the hours. It's available to Patrons now. Rest of the world on Sunday, Dec 5th.

Rewatching Malcolm in the Middle and I realized Reese has no game in his Game Boy XD

I like that emulators exist, but I don't like is the UI that most emulators have, and how many settings you have to mess with in order to get things working properly. Yesterday it took me a half hour to get a controller working in RetroArch, and another half hour to get the audio working.

Just a school photo from my childhood. 1980s.

I have now played Record of Lodoss War for the first time ever. Beating it was a massive undertaking, but I don't regret any of it. See the full breakdown of my experience here: youtu.be/IWUsCFYmbZI

One of the YouTube shows I do is called The Backlog. In each episode, I force myself to play a game from my collection that I hardly ever or never played before. I then summarize the experience in a video essay. Here is the link to Episode 1: youtu.be/9iY9xsUXm5w
