If you have a device that CAN run Apple Intelligence you need to turn this off as well as the general Apple Intelligence setting. Settings > Screen Time > scroll down to Content and Privacy > turn on Restrictions > Intelligence and Siri > turn off the first three options

Well I just traumatized my poor little orange cat. I had laundry scattered out of a basket on the bed. I came up ready to start going to bed and didn’t see him. I started scooping clothes into the basket and didn’t hear or feel anything.

OKAY. Here is how to actually turn off Gemini AI for your google workspace! 1) contact google support from admin panel and keep asking for a supervisor/to speak to a person. 2) ask them to enable settings in "Gemini for google workspace" 3) turn it off. I just did this and it worked.
