Nice result. I really like the colours of the stars. How did you process it?

Really good for a 'quick capture'! Did you process it in a particular way? I really like the colours of the stars.

Thank you. These filaments were already intriguing but these images make them look surreal!

Magnificent image. How big are some of those loops?

Right Ascension: 19h 21m 12s Declination: 55 Deg 49' 19.64" Magnitude 9.647 Thank you so much for this!

2/2 I'm in the southern hemisphere and can't take a picture of the star for them. 'His' star is near Vega, and I wanted to send an accurate image of where it is. If I give you the coordinates, could you take a picture for me? I know this is a bit much from a stranger, but I would appreciate it.

1/2 Hello David. I am interested in this photo. My brother-in-law recently died, and someone got a star named after him as a gift to his family. Of course, it doesn't mean much to the world of astronomy, but his family was very touched.

Worth it!

Which length of exposures did you use? ie 10, 20 or 30 secs?
comment in response to post
This is a really nice image. How did you process it? Is it my eyes, or are there a couple more galaxies in the image?
comment in response to post
Fantastic image. I went to your astrobin site but I couldn't find how long your exposures were and how many exposures you took over the three nights. Could you elaborate?
comment in response to post
Very clever. Interesting results.

Yes! 60 sec subs will be awesome!
comment in response to post
Wow, it looks brilliant. What are the black, wispy bits?

You have some nice photos here, etropal. Could you name the objects in these photos? BTW are you using equitorial mode?
comment in response to post
If it remains clear, I will have a go at it tonight.

Carina is fantastic. Did you use the mosaic mode? We've had clear skies in Adelaide for the last two nights and I have captured nine hours of the Cat's Paw Nebula (NGC 6334)! Brilliant viewing although not good for the farmers.

Very clear. What did you use to process the image?
comment in response to post
Stunning. The red is so vivid. It looks like a painting.

Thanks for this. In fact, please do more of these explanatory posts. One question: why does dust scatter starlight but gas blocks light. How can you tell?
comment in response to post
Cheers. I have heard of it but never used it. How does it compare with Siril or Pixinsight?
comment in response to post
Nice. What is 'APP'?
comment in response to post
I've seen a lot of these but I like this photo. The wispy structure is visible and colourful.

Glorious! How many subs?

What a crazy looking starless version! Incredible depth.
comment in response to post
Vivid. This is something I can aim for although mine will have a Southern Hemisphere perspective.

Here is the starless version. What incredible drama and detail. This nebula is rapidly becoming my favourite.

Nice work. Great colours. What your rig?
comment in response to post
BTW I know that I wrote this a month ago but thanks for your recommendation. It's blazingly fast with an SSD.

EQ mode is fantastic. I'm finding a lot of success with 20-sec exposures.
comment in response to post
Ha! I just took this image a few days ago from Adelaide, Australia. Check my feed for an upsidedown version of M83! I use Seestar S50.
comment in response to post
Wow.

Bortle 10 sky! What city do you live in? Impressive image, btw.
comment in response to post
Well, what ever you are doing looks brilliant, so it makes sense.
comment in response to post
Was this 10.7 hours in one night 😁? How long were your exposures? I am currently experimenting with 20 seconds using the new EQ mode and they are fabulous but I was wondering about moving to 30 second subs.
comment in response to post
This is my starless view of the Firebird Nebula. It looks dramatic and you can really see the details and dimensions of the dust and gas.
comment in response to post
Have you ever created a starless view of this? I think it would look pretty impressive.
comment in response to post
Definitely like the green version. What's your backyard Bortle?
comment in response to post
Bortle 8! How many images did you get?
comment in response to post
It's fantastic. Watch out for EQ mode coming soon!
comment in response to post
Love the texture of the starless image.

Brilliant details and the colours...wow.

Impressive. Is this a mosaic?
