Some charts on today's release of the JOLTs data today. -Openings down from their March 2022 peak. The gap between openings and hires is still wider than pre-pandemic. -Fewer Americans are quitting their job. Quits are down 31% from Jan. 2022. Involuntary discharges (firings & layoffs) are up 26%.

US Congress race in AZ CD1. David Schweikert Won election more easily than anticipated here by 3.8%. There was a Clear Red wave in AZ as Trump won by 5.5%. However, this CD is now bluer than the state!! D side will still have to compete in the Yellow regions to win the CD.
