Let's not forget this entire episode has been choreographed by Trump's team because Elon Musk revealed that Donald Trump was named as a guest at Pedo Island in the Epstein Files

Remember - This is all because Elon Musk revealed that Donald Trump was in the Epstein Files.

I thought if you attacked a Federal Officer you were a Patriot and anyone arrested for doing so was a 'hostage'.

The left supports causes not cult leaders. To 'The Left' Elon is a Contemptable Unpopular Noteworthy Threat If only there were some acronyn we could apply to that.

Yes because attacking The Capitol and trying to overthrow the democratically elected government is not an insurrection but protecting your neighbour from unlawful arrest and detention is In MAGAworld.

Could someone point out to the clueless senator that law enforcement involved in COVERT operations do not have the name of their agency emblazoned on their clothing. 'Donnie Brasco' would not have been as successful against the Mafia had he been wearing a shirt and hat with FBI written on it.

I was just following orders is a poor defence with a lousy set of precedents.

Demand ID and if they don't show it remember - ICE gear is just $30 on Temu so they could be anyone. And if they don't won't the conservatives be so happy to see so many people using their Second Amendment Rights

I applaud those who stood up but remember this is to distract from the fact Trump was in the Epstein Files and Elon Musk knew it but still endorse him to be President because he wanted tax breaks.

It was the trial and execution of Charles I that inspired the French philosphers who, in turn, inspired the American revolutionaries.

By the standards applied by the State of Israel and conservative media in the USA Ehud Olmert has just become an anti-Semite.

I'm not sure what to call it but there's a piece of sage advice that starts with the question "Where is the best place to hide a tree?" The answer is of course in a forest - not where the tree will stand out but where it will go unnoticed. That is the rationale behind the One Big Beautiful Bill.
comment in response to post
That might be their instinct but a cover up on that scale would leave far too much to chance. It has proven far easier for conservatives to simply bury news that is bad for them in an avalanche of disinformation and dystopic musings far removed from the subject at hand in their client media.

Lindell has put all his hopes on Donald Trump making his problems go away. He has learned to late that loyalty to Trump is a one way street.

As much fun as it is we should draw attention to how quickly Elon Musk went from 'perfect mental health' to suffering the now notorioius Trump Derangement Syndrome. It's almost as if what was called Sluggish schizophrenia in Soviet Russia is now called Trump Derangement Syndrome in the USA
comment in response to post
They won't be shocked at all. Like everything the conservatives and their client media do it's only done to work into this news cycle. When the case is dropped for lack of evidence somewhere down the line the most it will be is a sentence on the inside pages of some local newspaper somewhere.

The side show is fun but keep your eyes on the stage. The 'Big Beautiful Bill' cannot be allowed to pass because it rips up the American Constitution and prevents the courts from sticking it back together. Kill that bill, whether that means siding with Trump, Musk or MTG, that Bill cannot pass.

There is no indication in The Bible whether Jesus was married or not. As a Rabbi in Judea in first century Judea he almost certainly would have been but the canonical Gospels don't address the issue directly. Best candidates for his wife are Martha and Mary Magdalene but it's all very coded.

We now know that Musk is very confident some key evidence has been completely destroyed. If Trump's weaponised DOJ were to successfully investigate Musk's SEC violations prior to the purchase of Twitter then Musk would get a prison term that made Bernie Madoff's look like a home detention curfew.

This is the endgame many were predicting It's nearly the primary season ahead of the mid-terms and the Project 25 team need their men in ahead of the MAGA faithful When the mid-terms go badly Trump will be replaced most likely under the 25th Amendment, with Elon's boy Vance ready to become POTUS

The US cannot afford tax cuts for billionaires. The citizens of the US cannot afford the cuts to essential services it eviserates The bill should not pass

I'm not skeptical I'm just flat out calling her a liar.
comment in response to post
What should be noted here is the difference between what is said to the press and what is said to the courts. Lying to a complicit, billionaire owned media show has no consequences under criminal law, lying to a judge will put you in prison. Lindell isn't so crazy he doesn't know who to lie to.

The people who lose their jobs, or who are going to - for example in Toyota, Coca-Cola and GM because their employer is moving production out the US because of Trump's tariffs.

Keynes called it The Paradox of Thrift, increased individual saving during a recession decreases aggregate savings and economic activity. Reduced spending then cuts production and lowers incomes further reducing saving in a vicious cycle Which is why austerity has never worked and never will.

Thanks for making the correction Most countries occupied in WWII, including the British Channel Islands, had local officials and leaders who worked with the Nazi occupiers with varying degrees of enthusiasm The NSB in the Netherlands were among the most enthusiastic collaborators.
comment in response to post
The NSB in The Netherlands had the same role as Nasjonal Samling in Norway. Both Norway and The Netherlands were occupied, never admitted as a German ally, so both answered to German superiors but this was largely a difference of form not fuction. So not straightforward but they were in power.
comment in response to post
Sorry to correct you but in May 1940 the NSB - a far right party - took power in the Netherlands, albeit under a Nazi called Seyss-Inquart - an Austrian by birth. You may have forgotten that in Europe WWII started in 1939 not 1941 like the USA so getting the dates confused is easy.
comment in response to post
Wilders tried to push to be Prime Minister after the previous elections and found that no-one wanted to work with him. Like the Nazis in the 1930s his role is provoking disunity and dispute whilst playing the victim but never having any pragmatic, legal solutions - just negativity and and spite.

It's not a zero sum gain. He lost and we lost

The reason they don't lie in court is because lying in court has some serious consequences. Lying to an openly complict, billionaire owned, extreme right wing media has almost none and those few that exist can be characterised as 'being cancelled' by 'wokeness'. Demanding truth, it seems, is Woke.

I would add to shown without their masks online. Also any with ties to right wing organisations should be named online because the internal disciplinary procedures in ICE clearly aren't worth spit

That could only be true if the satellites were following their calculated trajectories and not falling from the sky ten days ahead of schedule - as they are doing that to suggest the risk is either known or mitigated is a mathematical absurdity. Premiums up for Elon, profits down for SpaceX
comment in response to post
And in terms of insurance, because the descent is random, that piece could hit The Louvre and set the Mona Lisa on fire. OK that's comically extreme but that's how insurance works, the risk is not controlled or mitigated so the premiums go up exponentially.

I'm from Europe - we started to exclude the USA from specific intelligence briefings on on November 19th 2024, when Donald Trump was added to list of people who were going to get them. From 2016 through to 2020 we were aware that a round of golf at Mar-A-Lago was all a spy needed to hit the jackpot

Except we know some parts already have. Non-Zero is not zero.
comment in response to post
There's an old Irish saying that fits here: When you lie down with dogs you rise with fleas.
comment in response to post
There's a slightly bigger picture - more nuanced. What was calculated is now random and put's the insurance premiums for SpaceX way up, every insurance company will be aware that a solar storm could cause an incident that can cost them billions.
comment in response to post
The problem here is that the orbits are failing unpredictably which means hundreds of satellites might fall on heavily populated areas. With the current Congress that means we can expect a bill that exculpates Elon from any financial liability for property and lives lost due to his incompetence

Fun Fact In all Germanic derived languages man is technically a gender neutral term Going from the Saxon a female man is a Wo-man and a male man is a Were-man (same roots as were-wolf) Then centuries of Roman style patriarchy in Germanic lands changed the gender neutral to apply to only one gender

A vintage British Sci-Fi show called Blake's 7 described the relationship between MAGA's leaders and it's followers perfectly "They will follow him, and he will fight to the last drop of their blood."
