Back with some more Jak & Daxter: The Lost Frontier this morning, and there's a hope that we should get it done today. There's no early finish today either so we'll be ~9-1 at least, though if I feel like the end is near we'll keep going. It's the end of the franchise and I've got a break next week

Honestly thought Man United would get the job done tonight, given just how well they'd played in Europe at times. But, nope. Decided to let the Premier League issues rear their ugly heads. It wasn't the best game to watch by any means - not entertaining at all - but still. Well done to Spurs.

I think my time with Duolingo is coming to an end. Not because of the AI - though that is also awful - but because I've been doing it for 645 days and I had a hope that I'd be further along than I am. You should be able to have a basic conversation nearly 2 years in, right?

So. We WOULD have celebrated 1 year since SEGATHON 4 on SNS tonight (albeit delayed because I had friends around), but laptop decided that it didn't like that idea and isn't keeping me connected. So we're not going to do that, and I'll hopefully see you all on @radiosega.net next week instead.

Had to rewatch Rogue One after Andor 10-12 (especially as it's not only A New Hope's prequel but essentially Season 3 of Andor, too). Still brilliant. I fucking love Star Wars.

So here's a fun insight into how I see myself: Yesterday I made the funny suggestion of wearing shorts to work because the lab is hot (air con isn't working), thinking they'd say no, and was surprised to hear a yes. Today - I'm wearing trousers. Because I don't like being out in public in shorts.

Oh. Bit of a shame that Episodes 9-12 have been spoilt already, but I'm interested nonetheless to see how they manage to rectify this somewhat large plot hole so Rogue One remains canon. 😂

I'm thinking, after Andor is done, that not only is Rogue One due a rewatch, but that it might be time to finally watch the animated SW shows. I've tried Clone Wars so many times and never get too far into it, but as more and more shows seem to dip into that part of the canon, I know less and less.

- Marvel renaming a movie post-release - Microsoft remastering Gears of War - again - but releasing it on PS5 as well - Ecco the Dolphin & Tides of Time getting remastered along with a third (fourth?) game also being announced Pretty weird Monday. Anything else going to happen today?

Marvel renaming a movie is something they've done a LOT over the years in the MCU. Renaming one AFTER its release as part of the larger marketing campaign is...interesting, though. Be fun to see if it pays off or not.

That was a fun little Daxter stream. I didn't remember much of it at all, which makes me wonder just how much of it I actually ended up playing on its original release lol. Might see if we can't finish it next week, then we've just got The Lost Frontier to go and a decision to make after that.
