I am a book loving queer person who works at my local library and I think libraries are the very foundation of our society. Books and knowledge are how we function as a society. And hopefully that will still exist in the future 😐 🌈

Yeah 🤷 I'm not anywhere near qualified to make the decisions about what to call the people, so I just roll eyes lol ButI totally agree with you.

I work at my local library in central Oklahoma and have for almost 21 years. We've gone through a handful of names and right now, we use guests. Sounds kinda weird to me. We used patrons at one time, don't know why we stopped.

Let me be clear.
I do not accept the status quo.
What I accepted was the absolute understanding of the amount of stupid people.
I wasn’t surprised. Nor shocked.
Stupidity is an American Institution. One that is protected at all costs.

I haven't finished it yet, but I was reading The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo. A few of my coworkers recommended it. It gives slight Elizabeth Taylor vibes with a hint of queerness. The cover is gorgeous 😍
