Nearly final CBO score of the GOP reconciliation plan is out. Their bill would cut program spending by $1.5 trillion but spend $312 billion more on defense, ICE, etc., for a total of $1.2 trillion in spending cuts. Plus $3.6 trillion in tax cuts. For a total of $2.4 trillion in higher deficits.

It's another case of Mayor Adams backing off proven safety improvements in the name of business interests or more "public input." In reality, the Adams administration has lost its own transportation ground war to opponents of bike lanes and bus lanes who have no interest in safety.
