I can just see it now Tories moving left to Cameron and Tereasa May era and winning the next election.

I always get that one mixed up with the Thames Television one for some reason.

I always wondered the same about vampires. That would be super inconvenient if you was a vampire that needed to get lower surgery.

It's the favourite talking point of the TERFs as well with their gross talk about trans women being intact.

More likely to be fired for using the right name and pronouns as was the case I think in Florida recently.

They always were just the mask has slipped off now.

Even OneDrive being mandatory is a hard no for me. I couldn't even use it if I wanted to as I have too much data to ever get uploaded.

Yep, same reason we have a 2021 Kia e-niro. Sadly they seem to have gone more into touchscreens with the later models.

Cis people really do. I personally know two of them and I think they know people who are outraged as well by the last few weeks.

The thing that gets me about it is that none of this would be hard if they just took a bit of responsibility to make sure their partner was having fun and enjoying themselves. That's it just do that and stuff like consent will come naturally.

They would of been more the type to accuse other people of being witches then witches so more of a witch finder outfit would be more appropriate for them.

Streeting should end up in a certain basement. Though in this reality it's probably still run some rich aristo TERF.

The Observer was sold so I think they might well have been.

I gave him the benefit of the doubt and then he told me I couldn't use the toilet on national TV.

Harry Potter and the Peddler of Shite

Bathroom bans seem to just be radicalising cis people against TERFs I hope in the end them going mask off is what gets everyone to realise what a bunch of bullies they are.

Sadly the people in question who forgot are Labour ministers.

Oh same. I'm feeling like such a burden to my friends.
comment in response to post
They would of said "Dignity and respect" while screwing people over instead of being honest about it.

Went to a meal last night with some cis women to celebrate the 14th anniversary of my surgery. Was really nice and despite what the supreme court said we were just three women enjoying each others company over a meal.

The cis women in my life said they felt silenced by the whole thing. The feel like no one is listening to them and men are speaking over them (they didn't mention transphobic women).
comment in response to post
Unless my friend group is a huge bubble they very much aren't.

I suspecting there will just be more infighting and stabbing each other in the back so it might actually be an improvement compared to the current lot who's only competence is being evil.
comment in response to post
More than us there's probably a good portion of the entire LGBT and a lot of cis women as well. My cis women friends are mad at Labour for throwing trans women under the bus.
comment in response to post
I'm trans and they are feeling much worse. At least the tories were honest about their shit and nowhere near as efficient at enacting their evil.
comment in response to post
They always go on about being the witches that didn't burn when we know they would be the ones burning witches.
comment in response to post
Just done exactly that! 💚
comment in response to post
Not sure I was in a bubble but most people back then were live and let live like they are back now. Biggest problem was being the only trans person I knew outside of a few support groups and internet forums.
comment in response to post
The things that gets me is that they are fucking idiots and they still manage to pull it off. Like the most clueless people you've ever met are running everything but we can't stop them breaking everything and causing misery.

if there's one single message we need to get across to the public, it's that transitioning meaningfully alters your biological sex, and anti-trans attempts to deny that are word games that are so torturous and unserious that they can only be motivated by bigotry
comment in response to post
Yep, it's been down hill since then. I feel like I had a much easier time then people who transitioned during the last few years tbh.
comment in response to post
Yep, I'm in my mid 40s now and I transitioned back in the late 00s. I feel like I don't even exist to the cis mainstream discourse.
comment in response to post
This is so true. All the people I meet in real life are great it's just people in the media and in power that are the problem for me.
comment in response to post
Tbf they have always been a shit bank.

No another similar guy. I think he knew Reid though and was scared of the same thing happening to him.

I was private seeing an old guy in London so I managed to tick the 'has been subjected to sufficient performative cruelty' box with just a women's top and trousers (this was my second attempt as I didn't realise how fucked it all was the first time). The GICs at the time were much worse though.
comment in response to post
Need to wear 'women's clothes' in public pre-HRT enough (I got away with just the appointment). Not sure if that quite counts a performatively suffer but that was the intent behind the rules they had to work around to not get shut down.
comment in response to post
Even 2009 was pretty bad but not as bad. I distinctly remember the guy I spoke to get my HRT prescription saying they had to see me at least jump through some token hoops. That was a weird time to come out.
comment in response to post
Was 2009 for me before most of these idiot Transphobes claimed we exist.

Even one of the guys at work unprompted came out and complained about JK being consumed by black mould the other day at lunch.
