Yes this would mean, the business would need to raise their prices. But guess what, tips have effectively told a lie to the customer on what price the food even is. They could just charge $30 for that meal instead of $25+20% tip.

It's still wage theft. It puts the burden of your pay on the customer instead of your employer. You and I might provide the same quality of service, but with tips we might make vastly different wages. The company could just pay you a living wage and not expect the customer to do it for them.

Oh? Their honeymoon is over? Who could have predicted that these two narcissists would be at each other's throats in less than a year of Trump taking office.

That's actually why Riker doesn't want Picard going on away missions. Between the two of them they fill up the transporter's dick buffer.

You can really see the strange mindset when people these days are saying, criminals don't deserve due process. They really do believe in, "Rights for me, not for thee"

I don't mind having a humorous death label, but can I request it be changed to one of the time travel deaths?

But seeing companies try to use AI art in the very ways that it shouldn't be used, and that Artists said at the start would happen is unfortunate. One can only hope it is just a fad like cheap 3d movies. Hope, I'm not muted, but as I say, people can mute who they need to.

I understand that to many it's not just an image, and is seen as a direct slap to the face. My goal isn't to insult those people who I do respect. When AI art first came in the scene, to me it was just a fun little toy.

Everyone should feel comfortable muting or blocking for whatever reasons they desire. My old PFP was AI generated, and I'm sure that got me muted by a number of people. I changed my profile picture because to me it was just an image and I don't want to use a picture of myself, but...

So I always thought that Truth Social was what people called Twitter to mock it. The day I realized it was real, I looked at Trump's account and saw the Pope image had been posted only 5 minutes prior. It was not yet anywhere else online. It was the last post of that night.

I've had dreams like that, that I think when I wake up, "That would make a good story." But then when I try to think of the details, it makes no sense

I like your podcast.

I feel like platypus are the result of genetic engineering, someone who plays DnD, and time travel.

The strange thing is even before I knew that Columbus was evil, it's not like anyone actually did anything for the day. Well I guess car dealerships used it as an excuse to have sales. But that's the only thing I remember as a thing that happens that day.

Trump is like that kid that wants to be popular, realizes that the kid he made fun of is popular, so follows that kid around while trying to claim that popularity.

No no, in the game development world this is just patching out exploits. Can't leave in those unbalanced multiplayer game mechanics. /s

Now here is the question, what subset do you prefer? The ones whose art style suggests their head actually is a dark ball with glowing eyes. Or the ones where you can't tell what sort of head it might be, just that the eyes glow?

I was going to say FF tactics.

Vampires are cool except for the ones that hang out in high school. At least hang out at college. I'm looking at you Buffy The Vampire Slayer and Twilight!

I know I played some Atari games before this, and there might have been a PC game or two before getting Quest for Glory, but it's the first one I really remember.

Someone needs to make this a shirt!

Mostly, however I lean on the communication side of things. If the math community defines a term one way and someone else wants to define it another way, I'll likely agree with the math community at large. Now you do suggest a new term of True Prime that builds off of Prime I can get behind.

Two does have two factors, one and two. Just like how three has one and three.

But it's for a similar reason that some people want to redefine the circle constant to 6.28 instead of 3.14, as there are so many definitions for things that say 2pi. Why always times pi by 2 when we could redefine the constant to be twice as large. They call 2pi tau if you are curious.
comment in response to post
You are right though that there very much is a vibes thing going on though, as all the definitions do is help communication. One could be a prime but they found it being a prime hindered communication.
comment in response to post
You are absolutely right. It was. But before it was it wasn't. And the reason they went back to it isn't from it is, is that it being prime breaks a whole bunch of definitions about other things where you would have to say "except one"
comment in response to post
One is actually not because the definition for prime is that only one and itself go into it, and as one is itself there is only one number that goes into one evenly. It's silly, I know but that's why one is not and two is.

Rating systems (everywhere) are strange. We get that 5 is the best and 1 the worst. But what is 3? Is that "it's okay but nothing special", or is that "there are bad things but it's not the worst"?

That is of course an option... Another option is watching your streaming service of choice until you only have time for a quick nap.
