I live in Ann Arbor and don’t post much, but when I do it’s usually about the Green Bay Packers or Michigan State Spartans. Not the author of The Francis Effect - that’s a different John Gehring

I just did a legit spit take.

This had me howling

Great opportunity to finish on a seven game win streak, which would guarantee a 2 seed and at least get them in the conversation for a 1 (though I doubt it happens)

Guaranteed to be playing for at least a share of the title in the UM rematch if they go 2-1 in the next 3.

Hope you also made it to Frita Batidos while in AA!

I like it as a change of pace. Wolf seems to rush his shot a bit.

Had almost gotten themselves level and just literally throw it away.

Not driving, not shooting, not doing anything.

I know it’s the third game in seven days, but they need to push the pace and makes those seven-footers run. Also really need the Booker that gives 10-12 mostly good minutes and not the Booker that gives 6 bad minutes.

Beth Mowins is great.

Purdue has one of the worst 2-point percentage allowed in the country. Need to relentlessly attack the basket and avoid the turnovers Purdue is so good at creating. 85-79, good guys.

This kleptocracy stinks. It could at least be a little more interesting than “cutting science research and healthcare for the poor so I can offload my shitty trucks on the military.”

I feel this deeply. I especially love it when they are completely dressed, snow pants and everything, and then decide one tiny thing is wrong and remove every single item of clothing.

I think the depth wins out in the end. They play 7 guys. I think a late first half run like we see MSU go on so often this year.

The funny thing is, after GB signed the creeper the special teams were legit good….until week 18 and the playoffs.

They showed it one time, he clearly got it, and it wasn’t shown again.

This is what billionaires should be doing with their money - paying to have bit parts in their favorite TV shows.

Best of luck to you! I know the feeling…

Take them out anyways! It is worth the effort.

Grrr, Fraley. Damn you, autocorrect.

Wow, that is amazing. I remember Hank Frey for some reason!

I think a point people are trying to make is if the coordinators both leave, but DET wins the SB next year, that’s going to be considered part of their collective legacy as well even if they are no longer with the team.

Was the NFC North all just frauds suckling on the teat of the AFC South?
comment in response to post
So any chickens coming home to roost for Detroit in this one. Delightful!
comment in response to post
I blame the AFC South for this. Got all the NFC North teams fat & sassy.

They were trying to say he’s considered defenseless the entire time, but how can you be a defenseless player when you’re actively trying to make the tackle?
comment in response to post
And the whining that it should have been a penalty just makes it even better!

That was wild

This is from last week but it is 1) long form and 2) extremely good. defector.com/a-comprehens...

This post is so embarrassing. Please look that word up in the dictionary so I don’t have to further embarrass you by posting it myself.

Hell yeah, man

You’re being a prisoner of the moment. The defense played hard as hell and kept them In it into the fourth quarter. The offense stunk, and GB got the short end of a replay review on a play Nixon should have taken a touchback on. They played poorly but I didn’t find it particularly embarrassing.

If we want to go way back, getting trucked by the Cowboys in the Divisional round the 94 season.

Atlanta 2016, the Mostert game, the Kapernick game, and the Vick game are all way more embarrassing IMO. I’d put Rodger’s last playoff game in there too but I understand if “embarrassing” is not the word some people would use.
comment in response to post
Rodgers looking like a cold old man who didn’t want to be there, and the special teams disaster you knew was coming was pretty damn embarrassing.
comment in response to post
They should have gone for 2 on their TD. Could potentially be an 8 point game.

I hear you but you gotta take shots here and there, and you’re definitely not expecting the DB to make a play that good.

The throw was good!
comment in response to post
The throw was good! That was an incredible play.

It’s just another big game where they looked like they were huffing paint in the locker room, it’s still good!

Makes no sense at all

Did we here anything before Dallas last year? Not that I recall. The words are meaningless.
comment in response to post
That’s really out there? Other than maybe a handful of conference games, seems like exactly what they should be doing until the NCAA tournament.

Sweet!
