Credit where credit is due: ol' Stevie has finally learned not to lick his lips and salivate til his shirt is soaked when mentioning babies. Suck it Pavlov

"I'll really stand out at barely an inch above average tallness" speaks volumes about dude's house at the corner of Narcissism St and Delusional Ave... Okay, yes, sure, maybe it is actually the mother-in-law suite of his dad's house, but it's detached, so it counts as his own separate house.

Your reviewer is deeply biased and wrong. Probably about most things, but sounds like they are a subject matter expert on the best pairing of wine to go with boot leather.

NPR has always attempted to be a neutral voice in reporting. It's just that this article is essentially reporting on claims made by OpenAI in a call with reporters about how OpenAI is trying to stop (arguably long after the damage is done) disinformation campaigns using their product.

If your PM is relying on a "tool" prone to hallucinations and a sub-50% accuracy, you're screwed. In your example, you already said your interviewer didn't have enough subject knowledge to properly handle the interviews, so corners were already being cut. Dodgy AI summaries wouldn't be noticed.

I can hear it in that Temu-meets-Wish-quality-Kermit-impression voice of his, and i gotta say its no worse than the other shit he spews

You really should consider re-reading what you just said and consider deleting it. At best, it reads as "yeah, had she been more violent at first, it'd be cool, but really this is all so unfair to ME!"

The dipshit is bringing out "Separate But Equal Except For Transeses" and pretending it's okay?!

Seriously, why the AI garbage? Or is this just to generate engagement and hopefully get you some clout?

Yeah, I assumed he has a personal assistant he hired specifically to "aid in ongoing important coding tasks" and just screams at to do stuff like this for him. Probably hired from the DOGE pool. Then he can steal the credit when it works, snd have a patsy ready if it causes legal problems.

The answer is sadly less "stupid" and more "semi-knowledgeable in one area, absolutely cratering it at the Dunning-Kruger effect, and narcissism amplifies all the obvious problems". This guy probably fails every square-block-round-hole test, but he's a monster at getting the triangle pieces unstuck.

Seriously, it's not like any of them had "M S 1 3" clearly floating above their knuckles like a 5 minute hack job in MS Paint except totally real! And everyone knows that's the only definitive proof of gang membership.

Gotta admit, there's a certain je ne sais qua to the professor in a BUSINESS COURSE cheating like this. Absolutely works as a real life example of corporate ethics in practice these days.

So distracting that dude is rocking around like a 3 year old who has to pee, or just another Trumper toady coked to the gills so they can fit in with Jr...
comment in response to post
Maybe to add, do NOT try to pull the other person to you. Extend arm, shake, retract arm. The "yank them toward me instead of shaking" is a creeper move reserved by the weakest and most insecure of people. But Trump famously does it, so I've seen weirdo dudebros try to emulate him.

Right?! Feels like I need some steel wool to scrub this off...

I do not ever want to agree with Piers, but damnit he's right here. And blondie was NOT expecting pushback from another white person, especially him.

That part. They don't actually care about men's mental health they just use it as a talking point to shut women up. In any other context they'd be mocking men who are suffering.

Hell, they barely see that "weak" guy with 20 pills in his hand as a person unless they need him as an example or scapegoat..

Chuck's view of "dispassionate journalism" has generally been to interview 10 Flat Earthers and then one person who says the Earth is round, then push back on the Round Earther for "not listening to or respecting the Flat Earther's views" when trying to disprove the obvious fallacies and lies...

Wasn't his stated goal to discredit vaccines at every turn? It's at least been his MO for 15-20 years, no matter what lies he has to tell or science he has to deny to do it.

Coming back to this, but if you have a highway with a 100mph speed limit but the practical speed is closer to 8-10mph from having to weave around car-killing potholes, it doesn't really help to put up safety cones. It's a bad road even if you are comfortable doung 35-40 on a motorcycle.

In part: their model is based on churning up conflict rather than spending any energy on research or being informed on the topic. They're like a food truck that only resells Taco Bell, generally still in the original wrapper and fresh from the microwave. Laziest possible way to do everything.

20 minutes to leave a baseball game en masse with your dog(s)... I've yet to see a stadium designed for a speedy exit at scale, let alone with excited dogs.

I'm hoping most of that are just the usual selfish twats that don't react until something directly impacts them. The Tariff Tango has been bad, but it hasn't tanked prices yet. Ditto on most of his domestic "policies" so far unless you're an immigrant or have some in your immediate circle.

Not just the fletching. Look at the freckles and how they contour around and follow the borders of visible skin like a 7th rate Star Trek makeup application, and stop at the back of her hand and wrists.

I went looking for that scene specifically, and then decided to give the thread a second scan to make sure I didn't duplicate someone else else.... damnit

100% this. You monster.

I agree they need a disclaimer, but i don't think it's fair to say the <40% accuracy is isolated to a single use case. It's all over, but as you said the average user may not realize they're being fed mostly BS

Joking aside, your image tweak actually looks more "natural" than the fake display they photoshopped onto an AI image of a coffee mug. Damn

Reposting this from a month ago. AI search tools were hitting 60% error rates when studied. I'm not sure you should phrase it as "high % of good info" and also some that is wrong, but you could flip it. It's wrong far more often than not, and at a much higher resource cost each query or prompt.

Could you imagine a world where the board used his current behavior and the degree of damage he's done to the company image, abandoning the duties as CEO for X and DOGE, and all the rest to push to fire him and claw back the billions in compensation he received over the last few years?

Maybe it was the aggressive cheerleading and aiding of tanking the global economy, endless hateful rhetoric, constant drug abuse, or blatant corruption? Nope, must be those whiney Woke Leftitarians telling stories about him and basing it all on accurately describing what he's actually doing...

It has been maybe 10-14 years since this happened, but I was once given a 20 minute lecture at my local pride that's it was a bit weird and slightly icky for anyone who didn't identify as queer to fly the pride colors or any variant even if we are allies. Sounds like opinions have changed. 🤷‍♂️

Did NOBODY stop Kevin here and explain that a dude who's natural voice makes him sound like a townie in a Stephen King story should not try to read this in his terrible "southern black woman" voice just because he thinks this is his chance to shine?

To be fair, "idiot" and "drunk" should probably be earlier in the list and included multiple times for emphasis.

What's really frustrating is he got it right twice in the first paragraph. It's like he guessed his way to 40% and then dislocated his shoulder by patting his own back for "practically getting an A"

Eh. Facebones tend to be pretty hard and punching people in the teeth is a good path toward picking up infected cuts from their filthy mouths. But I hear the nose or throat work pretty well as substitutes.

Is this an AI-generated product shot, a bad edit by a human, or does that stool jiat not have two back legs?

Yep. And we saw the same thing once DOGE was given any access to federal agencies. But his initial Twitter performance was bad enough it undermined Tesla stock value a bit, which is saying something...
