Not a fan of Ford, but gotta admit he's being dealing with this issue quite well. Wished Legault was as firm...

Yes, most of the time. It is very rare that I'll wake up in the middle of the night and obsess over something. Now, doesn't mean that I'm not a nervous person/stress bunny at time...

"Hierarchies of obligations" are exactly what He came to annihilate, or re-annihilate, because they were always nothing. Do I love my own family more than I love the poor? Yes. Of course I do. I am human. So I pray for a greater heart, to increase my love for all human beings. That is my journey.

Curious to see what you thought of Habemus Papam. Had several plays of Dead Cells last week as well and... it's a game. Not bad, not great, not sure how interesting it is really vs it being an activity.

I remember reading almost all of Doc Savage when I was in high school. Was a great way to learn English (if not, looking back, a bit racist...)

Yeah, the original rules were a little... disconnected to the game itself. It was more a question of "we need to keep using roughly the same system" rather than "what does this game need". Old thinking... :)

Is it a "complete" book or do you need the core T8 rulebook to use it?

Canada (EN) shows a lot of results for #democrat

Quite the contrast between #1 and 2. Not sure if two games could be more polar opposite (love both, just very, very different feel)

As I said, it's never 100% clear, even if after the fact you notice that it made no difference. If it was clear, then indeed...

Urg, I really want to read the 90's volume, just to see what they say about Dream Pod 9...

Maybe it's just the group I used to play with, but it was never the case when we played 1860 and 1817. Sure, the difference in money/gap between the players would change, but not the final order

I really think that those last rounds are more a product of "I want to see my trains run" rather than having a real impact on the game

That is my number one pet peeve about most 18XX. Never really sure that the last 2-5 OR are really necessary/make a difference in ranking (ie, who comes first/second/etc).
