When you think about it, Core-era Lara is kind of a bumbling idiot. It somehow didn't occur to her to read the amulet of Horus until *after* she'd already yoinked it off Set's sarcophagus. And that's not even getting into the many times she gets herself knocked out.

These minimalistic box designs for early Master System titles may not have been great for marketing back in the day, but I still think they're really charming, and I've always loved how the card titles just show a hand holding the game.

I remember being confused as a kid why phones back then could only produce beeps for ringtones instead of full digital audio, even though you clearly had someone's voice coming through the speaker when making a call, and at intelligible levels at that.
