Saw him in Manchester on Wednesday. Fantastic, in spite of a couple of technical issues. Looks like the same setlist.

Is this the book with something like:
“What’s the bravest thing you ever said?”
“Help.”
If so, great choice. Heading into Manchester tomorrow where I’ll try to find a copy so I can read it again.

Sorry, I meant Frank Carter!
He knows the songs whereas Idol didn’t.
A friend who adores Lydon absolutely loved it and is going. Unfortunately the Scotland date doesn’t fall right for me otherwise I would be very tempted.

I went along to Generation Sex last year and thought it was ok. Idol was the weak link, singing from an autocue.
Had friends who went to the Pistols with Turner who loved it. So much so that they’re going to see them again in Scotland this year. Lots more energy, they say, so worth considering.

Tough choices there Richard, but based on what I think I’ve listened to the most, here’s my top 5:
1. Wire - Pink Flag
2. The Stranglers - Rattus Norvegicus
3. The Only Ones - The Only Ones
4. Kraftwerk - Radio-Activity
5. The Stranglers - Black And White
