i do the politics. poorly. i hope my sports posts don’t clog up your feed, but it’s one of my wheelhouses. PNW native >>>> somewhere in the south, but mid-set is my real residency.

the permanent blindness in the right eye from taking a rubber bullet still won’t be enough for the red terra to ever vote for Kamala.

dems i guess are the only ones with agency so let’s write a couple dozen articles to try to persuade our subscriber bases. it’s so transparently condescending. like, you assholes, we no longer have siriusxm insight 121 because this mythological blue echo chamber couldn’t get its shit together.

that would explain why it wasn’t on the menu, but months old frozen walleye and trout were.

i was thinking Boundary Waters in summer.

it’s an officially recognized self-enforced punishment for when you fail to catch a walleye.

somehow a hundred times worse than people who add ‘lol’ to the end of their argument like it’s some big mic drop moment.

when your dad dragged your teenage self to yet another woodworker’s convention and you feigned disgust even though you already had a list of how you were going to start with Porter Cable and Milwaukee, and then hope Hilti had upped its game.

looks like it was a good deal of work, but i’m guessing the open self-serve bar and DIY taco buffet were both big hits with the guests.

you’re thinking too hard. ‘stepson - stepmom pounding’ is just an unstoppable force of nature.

i am just glad we all evolved from clicking on “first class fucking” to the same video, but titled - stepson drills milf.

i mean, i enjoy pushback and other perspectives from what i believe, if it’s coming from a genuine place. i don’t understand why that would be a bad thing. the idea that principled conservatives have nothing to offer to discourse is nuts to me.

this one for instance. a number of his The Atlantic columns as well.

straighten out a wire shirt hanger, put a very slight hook in it, wedge through to the other side of the cat tennis ball, gently pull once you feel it snag.

i am obviously dumb about this because i always thought national guards were under a governor’s authority and jurisdiction. when was the last time this happened? [to quell my dumbness]

what i have always hated is the odorless scent in the air that arrives ~5-10 days before the autumn equinox. it’s such a distinct air, and you just know the tides are starting to turn in that moment when you first feel it and breathe it. rare Indian Summers be damned.

PNW summer is the first nice week of weather in May through july 4th. on july 5th the fear and anxiety of the upcoming ‘big dark’ sets in, which means it’s actually autumn.

it’s an old rule of the thumb in the south, but refrigeration changed that. PNW i always remember being governed by red tide and dangerous algae blooms. spent some summers shucking/eating oysters off the beach every day in Hood Canal.

i agree with Tom’s take in general, but in this instance it should probably serve as a preemptive warning, unless i’m missing something.

the sports replies are also pretty good. mostly people talking over one another to complain about the officiating with a few wayward souls stopping by simply to state their hometown.

these people are so non-sensical. that was literally Bill Clinton’s campaign M.O. for two presidential election cycles, and now they all hate him and accuse him of being worse than Reagan.

anyway, enjoy the premature release back-shoulder sideline fade routes off the back foot pittsburgh fans.

it was also an actual centrist - Lieberman - who helped destroy the public option by threatening to filibuster, and it is still one of the most massive pieces of progressive legislation to pass in my lifetime.

i like how after you kindly advised, “hmmm, i think you should not post this,” they were like - no wait i have all sorts of even worse antisemitic takes….you need to hear them all.

if you didn’t read or don’t have access to the article, the ethicist basically dances around how bad ice is, justifies the existence of white supremacist foot soldiers, and then concludes with - it’s hopeless to fight so donate your money to these causes.

done watching if it weren’t for beer. my anxiety level baseline runs at 1, and for every moment of this series and the days between it is at 11.

the saddledome is in calgary - the de facto largest indoor mall on a per/rube basis. may they never win another cup. go Oilers. the actual princes of Alberta.

this could be something as stupid as the steelers well known insistence on not guaranteeing money beyond the first year of a new contract. hard to tell when a long term access reporter is driving the narrative.

most personal preferences are acceptable (uneeda, Loretta’s northwesterner, ox burger, Von’s 1000, and Dick’s), but when one claims burgermaster is unquestionably the best they lose all credibility. i wouldn’t trust them picking out ready-mix salad.
