Sub-types of Trump voters: "My parents abused me so I made myself love it and credit my success to it now" "My parents abused me and I still hate it, but nothing feels as cathartic as doing it to others" "My parents never abused me but for a lot of sick reasons I wish they had and I crave it now"

5. RFK Jr. would undoubtedly not confine his theoretical trial to the single endpoint of autism. No. He would compare every single outcome he could think of between the vaxxed and unvaxxed group. And guess what? Just by chance, something would hit. This is not science, it is thoughtless data mining.

4. When you do a clinical trial, you generally need to have evidence to support your hypothesis. There is no credible evidence in the scientific literature indicating that vaccines cause chronic disease. In fact, if anything, prior research shows the opposite.

3. There have already been randomized controlled trials of every vaccine on the schedule. The people receiving these vaccines were undoubtedly vaccinated against other diseases already. So the claims that there may be some weird interactions are nonsense.

2. The childhood vax schedule is updated with the addition of new vaccines, removal of others, timing, number of doses, and changes in formulations. RFK Jr. claims that vaccines cause chronic illnesses, so a study would need to be 10 years long, minimally. By then, whoops, the schedule changed.

This isn't me projecting - my own Dad was and is great - and I actually think the people who didn't grow up in abusive households are really blind to the sort of mental hold this dynamic has over many of their friends and neighbors and how deep-seated it is.

a LOT of Americans grew up with shitty and abusive Dads or other male authority figures, never learned to deal with it, and are now making it everyone's problem because Trump (and now Musk) slot so easily into that abusive role but nationally.

Seriously. And when she got to call in and record her favorite episode, and then hear her own voice on the radio (podcast/broadcast through the house speakers) it filled her little heart with joy — so thanks from the bottom of my heart for helping to make such a thing possible!
